I read Ray's second autobiography recently. Deeply troubled and disturbed guy. Still has imaginary friends too.

I should do some reading then - spent too many years obsessing over Beatles trivia and neglecting The Kinks.

I've been listening to them a fair bit since November-ish? I was on 2C-B and had some sort of epiphany while listening to them. I don't recall what conclusion I came to exactly but all is well in the world now :D
