Animal Rights Activists Exploiting Prejudice Against People With Addiction

I would post a picture of an effeminate liberal pussy getting mounted by a Clysdale stallion I think I would be banned for it.

You are, space-spunk.

You are literally too bitch to eat the food nature intended for you to consume. What else would I call you? Vegan conservatives are rare/non-existent. I guess you could be a new-age extremist or something. Do you believe in auras?

You're quite possibly the least intellectual person I've ever encountered online. And that's no small feat.
Congratulations - you must live a very fulfilling existence. It just radiates out of you....like an aura.

Your personal abuse, childish name-calling and ignorant labelling have absolutely no place on this forum.
Have you bothered reading the BLUA?

This is coming from the one who can't even defend their own position. You are projecting.

I have read the BLUA. I engage in insightful speculation and call things how I see them. You just refuse to participate in arguments when you know you are done for.

That is you refusing to state you position for the reason I explained afterward. You are a coward.

If you think I'm repressed why not do some charity and present your ass to me? You have essentially done it already but apparently I need more than a digital romp.

What the fuck are you on abouf? i am a;
Healthy, happy, strong, constructive, creative, vegetarian, politically engaged, environmentally aware, open minded and compassionate human being.
My opinions about anything else are my own.
Why?
Because of your continual posting of defamatory, sexist, violent redneck bullshit.
Some things are too beautiful to share with angry fools such as yourself. And so it goes.
Good night.

More excuses. You seemed more than willing to share your opinions before. You are just afraid I'll tear up your beliefs like the anus of a ten year old in the penn state university showers with Sandusky. Your opinions are as beautiful as a newborn with harlequin baby syndrome. Also, I can't be a redneck, I don't even live in the US or have similar political beliefs.

I don't know what kind of feminized, man-gina with low muscle mass from your protein deficient diet you are, but I think it is affecting your cognition.

Please kill yourself.

This kind of verbal attacking cannot be tolerated here. It is not relevant to the discussion at hand, and seeks only to scare and harm.
Consider this to be the strongest kind of warning, and also consider yourself lucky that you are only receiving a warning, instead of an infraction.

Less officially, I would say that you have lost your point in the mess of your anger. You don't sound convincing, just threatened.

When you say
Okay, try and give me an example of an illness that animal testing would not contribute to the cure of. I dare you.
it really has no meaning, because animal testing could potentially contribute to the cure of anything. Your position is not risky at all, since it is all based on hypothetical possibilities, so daring someone to answer doesn't sound brave.

When you say
only meat (and milk) has every type of protein together
you are just re-hashing a well-worn myth from the 60s and 70s. This is simply not true. For example, beans such as lentils contain every type of essential amino acid. So does rye bread. So do walnuts. So does good old broccoli. Did you know that if you ate only broccoli, and got 2000 calories a day from it, you would get 140 grams of protein - enough to risk overdoing it on the protein and hurting your kidneys. So, enough spreading the old myth about how our stomachs were "made for meat" and how only protein from meat is complete protein.

And in terms of anecdotal support, I lived off rice and beans and lentils, legumes of all sorts, for nearly six years with meat/fish/poultry thrown in only rarely. Plenty of veggies of course, my favorites being broccoli, spinach and occasionally asparagus. And short of a certain gluten free, vegan "buttery" french bread I fancy, rye bread is the best of breads (well, at least next to homemade bread, which is always the shit when not fucked up). But I digress...

Thanks for the, thoughtful, informative and on-point post slim <3 as always I only expect the best from you anyways ;) :p

First of all, he was mocking my claim that animal testing could potentially cure any disease. You even admit my original assertion was correct. You crudely psychoanalyse my response in some self-indulgent attempt to degrade my position. He had a problem with what I said so I tried to get an example from him.

I'm still waiting for the rationale behind spacejunk's position. Perhaps he is the one that feels threatened and that it why I haven't been given it yet.

You can eat plants until your shits turn green but the truth is, they taste like ass. I'll look into the plant amino acid thing but in my experience, vegans have always had waif-like bodies unless they are pounding whey protein shakes on steroids. That is how some of my comments were inspired.

P.S. We are omnivores and have been eating meat since the dawn of man. So yes, our stomachs absolutely are made for meat, regardless of whether or not it is possible to survive without it.

So we're not carnivores, we're omnivores, huh? That kinda does away with your adamant meat theory.

Clearly you didn't read slim's post, or if you did not very clearly. Or perhaps English isn't your first language?

I hope for the sake of humanity this is troll work, but I'm not going to bet on that. Come to think about it, even for the sake of self respecting troll's everywhere, I kinda hope your not even that (a troll).

I now formally promise myself and all other good BLers out there that I will not give you any more attention. Sometimes it's hard given the content of your posts, but if no one responded to you other than perhaps the occasional mod post, that would be for the best. After a certain point, folks like the one your posts portray should be totally ignored.

slim - you know, anything to get in your pants :D;)%)8)

The point is we are not herbivores. Dur! When did I say our diets must consist entirely of meat? You evidently failed to read my posts judging from your imbecilic quips. Try countering arguments I'm actually making. Take that carrot out of your mouth and sit on it. Hopefully it perforates your colon.

I don't have to prove you wrong; the whole point of backing up your argument is that the onus is on you to prove your claims.
Mocking you?
Man, for someone that questions - in excessively vulgar terms - my masculinity (for being my political beliefs, for caring about animal welfare, and for my choice to live on a diet mostly free of animal products) along with torrents of abuse, childish name-calling and aggressive macho value judgements, it is pretty rich - and immature - to play the victim here.

I mocked you? Oh dear. Is the word "hypocrite" in your vocabulary?

I disagreed with you. I disagree with the tactic of argument that follows a line like -
'Animal welfare is of no concern because all (the word you used) human diseases might be cured by doing tests on them'
Humans have been doing scientific tests on animals for centuries - and guess what: we will never cure all "disease".
It's a laughable premise, and absolutely impossible to even consider possible.

Bacteria and viruses are as much a part of any ecosystem as plants and mammals are.

It's a flawed, and frankly absurd justification for having a prejudiced outlook on the issue of animal welfare.

If you're blaming your defamatory, infantile posts on my failure to respond to your abuse - I explained to you that I don't waste my time on damn fools like yourself. But there - happy?

Again, back to the sorts of generalisations and ignorant stereotypes that make absolutely clear that
a) your experience is very limited if you think "vegans have always had waif-like bodies" - you're taking the piss, surely?
b) you know not what you are talking about - or to whom (when did I say I was a vegan?)
c) you are an incredibly ignorant, judgemental, shallow person.

I am comfortable enough with my own sexuality, lifestyle, health, physical strength - and while we're on the topic, my body in general, now that you so graciously mentioned it - to have to resort to discussing it with random angry carnies (that's vego slang for meat eaters, geddit?).
The fact that you get so worked up about people that are different to you (and how they live and think) demonstrates a massive chip on your shoulder. I'm not going to speculate what it is; but you're acting like a very threatened...well, animal.
P.S. We are omnivores and have been eating meat since the dawn of man. So yes, our stomachs absolutely are made for meat, regardless of whether or not it is possible to survive without it.

Demonstrating once more that you have no idea what you are on about.

Let's take a really fucking simple example from nature and see if you can follow.
Ever looked at a dog's teeth? Dogs are omnivores (unlike cats, who are almost exclusively carnivorous, and have a mouth full of incisors - for eating meat). Dogs have similar similar sharp, pointy teeth.
This is for piercing and ripping flesh.
A hippopotamus has a lot of round, flat teeth; much like human molars.
Hippos are herbivores.
Like humans, they can be dangerous as hell - and they are strong, enormous and live solely on plant matter.
I'm no dental expert (I don't claim to know absolutely everything in order to back up my opinions) but it seems to me that the majority of human teeth resemble those of plant eating species.

We have canines - which resemble most closely a carnivorous animal's teeth.

Hippos have canines too - they are used to tear food, whereas molars crush and grind food.

Cats don't have anything resembling teeth like this. Nor do dogs; which are omnivores.

It is just one simple illustration of how the world - and mankind's place in it - consists of many different shades of colour and variation.
A world of black-and-white, of certainties and set definitions, rules and absolutely no diversity - sounds incredibly bleak, dull - and frankly - quite false, bordering on delusional.
There is no template for human behaviour, thought or expression; any such rules are just dogma.

Notice how I put my point across here without vitriolic hate-speech?
I don't care what people think - I'm enlightened enough to know that we all think differently. I'm happy to be disagreed with, as it can make for interesting discussion
The "discussion" this thread degenerated into is not useful, interesting, intelligent or brave.
You repeatedly call me a coward - from behind your keyboard.
That's funny and ironic - sure - but embarrassing, and not at all what this discussion board is about. But you've been told that already - multiple times.

I could go on to talk about the hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals that go into the animals slaughtered and sold for their meat - and how they contribute to the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria, as well as affecting the people who eat this meat.

Or i could direct you to the studies demonstrating an increased risk of bowel cancer, the more meat a person consumes.

Or the other disease epidemics caused by meat consumption - be it from African "bush meat" reportedly leading to infection and spread of Marburg or Ebola viruses - or intensive farming practices reportedly causing "swine flu", "bird flu", "SARS", and what have you.
But I'm no biologist or infectious disease expert. I don't pretend to be.

What I will point out is that your insipid rants about human dietary needs brings us closer to the cause of so many human illnesses - which was what the discussion was about (somewhat - it was originally about addiction and animal experiments - among other things) before you took it off topic then carried it off-topic even further with your personal attacks and bitching about being "mocked".

The diet of most meat eaters is higher in fat than - say, mine (as you are so fixated upon attacking what you assume I eat).
Obesity, heart disease and a range of other "first world" morbidities can be avoided by eating less fat. A simple way to do this is to eat less (particularly red) meat

So if you are really so concerned about disease in humans, i would recommend having more of an open mind when it comes to diet. And human treatment of animals, for that matter.

I think it was more of an exercise in ego and bigotry though, personally.

I don't expect you to improve your approach to online discussion.
I don't expect you to be in any way humble or apologetic - and I certainly don't expect to engage with you on this forum again - though I expect your time here will be limited, as absolute dickheads are not tolerated on bluelight.

Welcome to my ignore list, asshole.

Lol, I guess I can't respond to him now. Imma go slap some veggi-tards emaciated asses with veal chops.

I think that at this point the best thing to do is to close this.
It is quite far off-topic, and I don't see much hope of it returning to the topic of animal rights activists' exploitation of prejudice against addicts.
DankOpiAmp, why don't you check out the Healthy Living forum to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of eating meat?
Spacejunk, thank you for trying to explain things, but to have a discussion with people who have already made up their minds is impossible.

I will leave you with a "waif-like" vegan, Marcus Patrick:
