Nah, Oscar is certainly no goody-2-shoes... but adopting an attitude of retaliation with demeaning puns is just silly. The guy is human, just like us. He's made a few wrong choices in life and is paying for them dearly now... but hating on him won't help anyone.
I'm only here to mock him for more pettier, inhumanistic, insensitive reasons.
FWIW I've seen it time and time again. Men go for some pretty faced, Purdy, modelling lady... and then the relationship turns into total opposition. They become frustrated, angry, controlling and some can't contain these emotions and it get's nasty. An attractive lady can be much more of a curse than anything else.
A real life friend of mine got with a Purdy, popular, pretty faced girlfriend... ended up beating her to near death and re-arranging her face. It was in all the national newspapers. Apart from beating his girlfriend to near-death, he was actually quite a friendly bloke if you knew him.

It's the mans fault for having his own selfish agendas at heart in the first place - by initiating a relationship based on his own selfish, greedy and egoistic desires. Then what fruit doth bear from that tree, what groweth from that seed he has planted... what branches from that tree... is all of the same strain and it's ugliness manifests itself in greater ways.
Seen it time and time again. Worst case scenario being my buddy who's now in jail for life. Guy goes out with girl coz he thinks she's hot, ends up getting frustrated as hell and wishing he'd never been there.

Well I hope I cleared that misconception up in the second post. Truth is, though men abusing woman is not funny, there is at least psychological reason behind it.
As with this case, it's wrong to speculate why without hearing what he has to say. Only fair to let the man stand his ground. I don't even think Oscar has admitted to it yet.
