Romany & gypsy are we tolerant in Europe ?

4 - just looked at your links and see they're from the guardian. Oh my days. If the Guardian says its true then it must true. If their target audience is teachers with leather patches on their elbows and social workers then clearly they must be totally unbiased.
Irony...not a strong point of nationalist types, is it?

It would've been ironic if had responded with a daily mail link, but I didn't my views are shaped by what I actually see and experience, not by the main stream media.

If it makes you feel better I can humour you and accept the label of flag waving loony. Ok, not quite true but nevermind, no biggie.
Now dispute the basic core of my position, that finite resources are finite.

Not when you live on an island !

No borders means no wars, true. But doesn't it also present us with the choice between anarchy or a massive one world govt ?
I find neither choice that appealing

1 - Is that 25bn enough to provide the extra drs, cheap housing, teachers experienced in teaching kids who speak English as 2nd language. Is it enough to cover the strain on our services and resources and put extra into the treasury ? In other words have we actually benefited from them being here ?

2 - Arrivals work more / claim less than the average brit ?
The key word here is average most migrants are of working age. The average brit will include pensioners, the terminally ill, children etc etc. To compare a group of people who by definition are able to travel to an indigenous population is a flawed way of looking at this

3 - They do cheap hair cuts
Well whoopy do. They also undercut local plumbers too. The idea that migrants are more hard working than the average brit is a clever feat of social engineering and youve fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
Yeah some of them work for peanuts because they have to. This idea is particularly dangerous in the current climate. After all prices are going up quicker than wages. But isn't the onus on employers on giving us a decent days pay for a decent days work ? The idea that brits are lazy and spoilt hampers progress on this front.

3 - You could get to touch a boob.
Yes obviously anyone typing on the internet must be single, sex starved and socially awkward.
....lame

not really come across anyone in EADD for a long time with your 'vibe'. Youre not bluntsie, he was far more elequent, despite being insanely annoying, but you are insanely bitter, rather than constructive. Humourless too.

Anyway, regardless, you've got a closed mind, so no point engaging further.

Bless ya.

I am quite able to discuss such things with people with opposing views ( its obviously more interesting than talking to people who agree )
A guardian link and some name calling and imaginary insights and you roll over and call it a day.

And i'm the one with the closed mind ?
If you'd come up with a rational argument against my position I would've read it and given it some thought, because I'm interested in what other people think.

I have not attacked you personally have I ? I have disagreed robustly with some of the views expressed here, but what else were you expecting on a thread about politics ?

I love engaging in debate. But I don't like your style, and I don't like what you chose to include in your response (not talking about the political points included), and I don't mentally respond positively to how you choose to get your point across. I do believe you're closed minded, and I'm more than willing to accept that I am too, but about YOU, and your style, not the political points being discussed.

It's not about 'rolling over' because I can't handle you, it's because I'll get absolutely zero out of the process of continuing. If I can take Bluntsie on for a full 48 hours straight, you're a piece of cake in comparison.

So, there yer have it.

and I don't like what you chose to include in your response

Like facts, reason and logic.
Anyways.
That was superfun, lets not do it again ever

You think one little drop of period blood is gunna bother me ?

I once opened the door to the provvy lady with a red lemon shaped blob on my face that went from nose to chin. I lap that shit up.

Not when you live on an island !
I do live on an island!
But if, as you correctly assert; "finite resources are finite", surely you would also recognise that this is common to all humanity.
Overpopulation isn't something we can just pretend isn't happening. Things that fuck the planet fuck us all up, right?
Not just the people of a particular island, region, territory or public toilet. We're all in this fucking mess together, friend.
I'm not trying to change your mind, just give you my perspective.
No borders means no wars, true. But doesn't it also present us with the choice between anarchy or a massive one world govt ?
Easy one! Anarchy, please.*

Finally !
An interesting response.

RE the resources.

I will might end up chewing over your response after a spliff when I've done all me chores n shit.
I can safely say that immigration has caused some problems with regards to public services in my area. No amount of guardian links can change that, when people dismiss what I've seen as racism it seems like a cop-out and a refusal to accept facts and I find it quite frustrating ( see above )
I do actually sympathize with people that feel they have no choice but to relocate. I really do.
But on the other hand I have a polish friend, she'd be the first to agree that some people are here simply to take the piss.
Its an interesting question, I'd rather not see my fellow man starve, but can we as a nation afford to help them all ? Do we do enough ? Where should the line be drawn ? Why should I make sacrifices when the problem ( that some countries are fucked ) is out of my hands ?

As for anarchy
Well its a lovely idea. Its never been put to the test though has it ? Even hunter / gatherers had some kind of order or heirarchy once their numbers got over 20 or so.
Interesting that you mention Trotsky. Communism, marxism what they actually mean and the differences between them is the next thing I intend to learn about, Ive got a couple of other books to get through first.
Looking at the countries that have tried it, it seems to me that everyone is skint. People can cope with being skint coz everyone they know is skint too so aslong as you pretend you can't see the huge fat houses the party leaders have everything is peachy.
I'd rather not see a one-world govt though. I'd rather be ruled by someone who walks the same streets as me, uses the services and has a vested interest in seeing them succeed, someone I can approach and badger when stuff goes tits up.

Anyway. Enough waffle from me.
