So, coming back to this post - you first admit to getting your information from "the press" (the tabloids, yes?) then you show how clever you are by revealing that you think "Romani Gypsies" come from Romania.
I'll take being told to piss off and stop "trolling" from someone who has half an idea what they're talking about, but whatever.
 
um... i didnt mention romani gypsies. i was simply posting on something on the wider subject of immigration from e.u. have no clue what you are blathering about


and yes, youre right. if the press are to be believed this morning is a COMPLETELY NORMAL prefix to someone trying to convey a fundamentalist viewpoint. yes, no element of possible subsequent irony whatsoever. well done there crocodile dundee 8)

Ignorant Australians have all kind of unpleasant ways of categorising the British, too - but rather than repeat them like a fucking moron, I thought I'd offer an outsider's perspective on what I could see was degenerating into anti-immigration bigotry.
As you pointed out though, I'm just peddling ugly stereotypes, rather than putting anything reflective or thoughtful into the discussion.

To pretend that there isn't a problem in the name of political correctness is just willfully ignoring the facts.
An example of the facts being : a friend of mine just moved to my town, i'd say it was a medium sized town big enough to have, off the top of my head, 8 primary schools.
There was only one place available in the whole bloody town. One place ? Out of 8 schools ? We have over the years seen a huge influx of jobless slovacks and poles.
Nobody could argue that this is somehow a coincidence. You may say over population is a global problem. Well its not really. My town wouldnt have a problem if they all fucked off.
Think of poverty as a plague. Would it make sense to let in contagious people simply because it's nice to be nice ?
Its not as if they're even grateful. Their sense of entitlement is gobsmacking.
 
^The badh thing with the Gypsies is that opposite to the other hard working foreiners like Polish people, who are more than grateful to accept schooling and housing when given to them, the ROMANY gypsies outright refuse.

As I mentioned earlier in this country the government gives cash hand-outs to gypsie parants who send their children to school, they're a bonus system, so they get a certain amount when the child enrols, then a bigger amount if after the first semester their child has actually attended and so on. So the parents know that in order to get the free cash they can just allow their children off with social workers for a day to do the enrolment, then as long as the kid shows up in class more than once a months they'll get their bonus pay on top.

For housing same thing, I already made the example but in a financially deprived area of town, where the natives already live lik shit, the government used its money to build apartment buildings for the gypsies living in the local camp, moved them there, within weeks they were all back at the camp, as they had stolen every piece of pumbling to sell as scrap metal.

Honestly I believe coexistence will never work, they have to me moved to areas that are detatched from human settlements, so their behaviour and way of life will not be allowed to poison and pollute civilized society. A remore area in Eastern Europe would be a ideal, they would get their right to self-determination and the poor slavs would sigh of relief.

If that was aimed at me then i'd be interested to hear more...

I'd love to see an intelligent response to the fact that that many places don't have enough school places, affordable housing, dentists or g.ps to go around,and cuts to the police budgets but we're still letting in more people.
People that can't support themselves as there aren't enough jobs either.

Call me a racist or bigot if ya like. But then follow it up with how the maths that explains how the problems aren't real or our current immigration policies make sense.

...the implication, again, of working classes being manipulated (gypsy folkdevil theme flogged endlessly by tabloids/ NF numbskulls) by the ruling class/fleet street for their own interests seemed a bit..uh, obvious to point out.

The problem isn't that we ignorant Brits need you to explain the workings of our society to us. It's not even that gypsies are marginalised and demonised. It's that you are condescending and dry and you are totally killing the lulz.
