Romany & gypsy are we tolerant in Europe ?

What the fuck are you blathering on about?
Which part did you not understand? I guess it was the use of the word "lulz"? It is roughly synonymous with "humour", a quality that I feel sj's presence in this thread impedes with a heady combination of po-faced, sanctimonious earnestness and patronising condescension. If my intended meaning continues to elude you, please do not hesitate to request further explanation.

You really are a sarcastic little fucker, aren't you?

I'm referring to the fact there are no 'lulz' whatsoever in this thread. Only a lot of prejudice which makes me (and I imagine many others) feel a bit uneasy.

Aw, and we used to be such good friends. And yeah, I'm so sarcastic all the time 8)

I'll cop to being a wise-arse, subversive, nazi-baiting punk.
Fucken oath, cunt (as we say in the provinces, ol' chap)

But none of them other big collegiate words.

Do you take me for some kind of amateur shit-stirrer? %)

The provinces are just the places outside London within the United Kingdom, old bean, and backwards as they are, they're can't hold a candle to the colonies, which are even less sophisticated.

Three bags full, sir.

Nice to see where the good-old fashion gypsy bashing comes from an eye opener for a person, like myself - even less sophisticated than...whoever you wee talking about. Some "pommy shit"

Two gypsies once bailed my ex wife and myself up in Italy and read our palms. They told her she was having two kids and they told me I was having three. That didn't go down too well seeing as we have two kids and she has had a hysterectomy.

some gypsy lady came up to me crying with a picture of Jesus just like holding it in front of my face with her hand out and I told her I was Jewish and she just straightened her back up and walked away all salty

waste of a culture to be honest, Nazis were onto something

@ marmalade
If that was aimed at me then i'd be interested to hear more...

Migrants contribute £25bn to UK economy, study finds

Arrivals from EEA countries since 2000 have worked more and received less in benefits than average Briton, academics argue

I can tell you from personal experience that Polish workers in my particular (shitty) town have inspired much life and rejuvination into a shit heap of an area that was dead and burried and doomed to failure due to the failure of the fishing industry. Many empty shop units which the council were going to do fuck all about and leave to rot are now filled, and sell decent wholefoods; markets opened that once were barren.

Not to mention them giving kick ass hair cuts for a fiver, AND you might even be lucky enough to see/feel the first brush of cleveage youve had in a while from the hawt Polish chick while she's clipping away and stroking your mane.

What's not to love?

Not Romany as such but since I can remember there's been two gypsy camps with throwing distance from there I live. I grew up with it around me so nothing new and being in the Belfast the paramilitaries kept them in check.

Its in their nature to steal. I remember a couple wanted to leave it all behind and move into a normal house/life. Transit pulled up and wrecked the place looking to hack the fella to pieces. Its all tribal. An eye for an eye. I doubt the Romany are any different.

I wouldn't want them living next door tbh. Everyone has a right to live but so do other's.

1 - Is that 25bn enough to provide the extra drs, cheap housing, teachers experienced in teaching kids who speak English as 2nd language. Is it enough to cover the strain on our services and resources and put extra into the treasury ? In other words have we actually benefited from them being here ?

2 - Arrivals work more / claim less than the average brit ?
The key word here is average most migrants are of working age. The average brit will include pensioners, the terminally ill, children etc etc. To compare a group of people who by definition are able to travel to an indigenous population is a flawed way of looking at this

3 - They do cheap hair cuts
Well whoopy do. They also undercut local plumbers too. The idea that migrants are more hard working than the average brit is a clever feat of social engineering and youve fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
Yeah some of them work for peanuts because they have to. This idea is particularly dangerous in the current climate. After all prices are going up quicker than wages. But isn't the onus on employers on giving us a decent days pay for a decent days work ? The idea that brits are lazy and spoilt hampers progress on this front.

3 - You could get to touch a boob.
Yes obviously anyone typing on the internet must be single, sex starved and socially awkward.
....lame

4 - just looked at your links and see they're from the guardian. Oh my days. If the Guardian says its true then it must true. If their target audience is teachers with leather patches on their elbows and social workers then clearly they must be totally unbiased.
