ok seriously sorry i've been MIA for awhile. Living Walls conference is happening right now and I am literally swamped. I also have a terrible mega super crush on one of the artists and he leaves today. Oh be still, my heart! I'm emailing him asking for the pictures of me he took because he asked me to pose for him. I wasn't made aware of this thread until just now, and man, am I happy to have been told.

For those who don't know me, hello If my username doesn't give it away, yes, I am a model and have been since 2005. I am no supermodel, but I'd consider myself to be a successful one. I'm based in LA and frequent NYC for shoots as well. Primarily editorial and beauty, I also have done an extensive bit of runway work as well.

you remember your first time seeing lindsey? did she stick out at all, or do you remember the first time you saw a lot of big models? i don't know the first time i saw her. but i'm pretty sure i loved her right away, so i'm gonna think about it and i bet i remember. i do have a post about the first time i saw nastya.

Kenickie has a post about ondria before i knew anything of her. about her being a controversy in that marc jacobs show with big, toy hats. i didn't think anything of her then. like was said, you can't really see her under all the nonsense she's wearing. no name mentioned. whenever i did realize ondria might be someone, i thought of that post and it was her! the zipper earrings are cool.

doesn't matter how many times i see lady gaga. will never know what she looks like.

yea, it was when donatella said her lips are shapped like a it just stuck with me. i think that is the only time i recall, recalling the first time i saw a certain model.

watching that show is technically the first time i saw lindsey as well...

i don't know if that's when i really recognized her. i remember watching the show after Kenickie's post and thinking daphne is quite pretty. maybe i thought the same of lindsey. maybe lindsey wasn't an immediate love. couldn't have taken long for her to grow on me. my post history replaces a big part of my long-term memory, and no mention until way after her image was a significant part of my brain. lindsey and daphne are kinda a pair. especially back then. maybe that's blurring things. at the moment i can't recall a clear point of "holy smokes" for either of them. i'll remember that they were the best.

plus elle was everything then. who i have a much better memory of discovering. hopefully not just because it's on bluelight. i thought she was alright in Somewhere. created a blip. new-wave actresses had me on tumblr. ended up scrolling past her in a valentino--didn't know that at the time--dress. later i found a pic of catherine deneuve...

i was like beyond stupid hot for him i can't even tell you guys. it was really bad. he has a chapter in my memoir -- Kenickie's passionate, five day love affair, which consisted of one childlike kiss and a lot of feeling up. and two trips to the airport. and three photographs which he asked me to pose for.and many hours of me laying in the sun staring at him watching him paint. I KNOW.

i made it a thing to get famous street art boys to wear my head gear. besides my chilean friend, I became the closest with this kid, from Israel.
