again, it would be even better if we just replaced the human players with cyborgs who can pitch at 300mph and hit a home run 900ft. ball parks will have to be so much bigger, accommodating crowds of 250,000 or more.

Damn right it would be better, I watch sports to watch the biggest baddest motherfuckers alive do their thing.
Also, if steroids are allowed it would be a more even playing field because everyone would be allowed to take full advantage of what is available. As of now some are taking them, getting and advantage and getting away with it. Testing for performace enhancers will never be fully caught up with the drugs because there is always something new, or some way to mask it for a test.
In a game where you are paid hundreds of millions of dollars if you perform well it makes sense to use performance enhancers if you think you can get away with it, so this stuff we are dealing with will never stop, it will only get worse. Im betting once the older generation of traditional baseball fans die out people will be overall less anti steroid and the perception of performance enhancers in sports will change.
