Damn right it would be better, I watch sports to watch the biggest baddest motherfuckers alive do their thing.

Also, if steroids are allowed it would be a more even playing field because everyone would be allowed to take full advantage of what is available. As of now some are taking them, getting and advantage and getting away with it. Testing for performace enhancers will never be fully caught up with the drugs because there is always something new, or some way to mask it for a test.

In a game where you are paid hundreds of millions of dollars if you perform well it makes sense to use performance enhancers if you think you can get away with it, so this stuff we are dealing with will never stop, it will only get worse. Im betting once the older generation of traditional baseball fans die out people will be overall less anti steroid and the perception of performance enhancers in sports will change.

Sprinters riding motorcycles..... really? That is not a valid analogy.

The advent of technology has allowed humanity to advance physically, and steroids are no exception. By your way of thinking that today's athletes are cheaters because of advanced nutrition and training techniques that older generations didn't have. Being an athlete is about pushing your body to the limit of its capabilities, and what you put into it has a big impact on that, be it food, creatine, whey protein or steroids.

That is a completely different type of progression than sprinters riding fucking bikes.

i think we'll have to just agree to disagree. you see pumping your body full of growth hormone and steroids as no different as the move from eating 20 eggs for breakfast to using advanced sports nutrition. i disagree.

and yes, i'm aware of the irony :)

Allowing the use of PED's wouldn't be fair to the athletes who don't want to use them. And I don't just mean it would make the game unfair, in order for them to play on the same level they would be forced to use them and that is what wouldn't be fair.

No one should be forced to ingest drugs and sacrifice their health just to do their job, which is what could happen if we allowed the use of PED's. Even people who don't want to use them would HAVE to use them just to compete, and the amounts being used would quickly surpass healthy levels and people dying 30 years early because of heart problems is a real possibility.

Like I said, no one should have to sacrifice their health and endanger their life just so they can compete with those who are willing to do so.

I'm tryin to be positive about it, but as a life long braves fan it's hard not to think that they'll figure out a way to blow it.

They've been pretty damn streaky. And baseball is all about being hot at the right time.

I suppose we'll see.

Cards look like shit, but I could absolutely see them making a run.

I also think the stupid red socks will win the AL.

Great game for the Twins. Albers looked like an all-star pitching a complete game shutout
