ShopperCheck

Not changing your sheets for a month? That's vile. I change mine weekly.
My grandmother irons my tiny undies. Wtf? Mental behaviour
Indeed. It's when I go and stay with them in cyprus. She does all my washing and ironing. One could argue allowing your grandparents any where near your knickers is a little mental
up to 600 (maybe 700 if it is worth an extra 100)
What laptop did you go for shoppercheck? I am looking at buying a new one tbh.
TG how much is the price range?
The Acer V3'S are great
Just golden rule really, buy the best you can
32GB memory if you can

Who needs 32GB RAM? This is NOT sensible advice! 4GB is usually plenty!
Unless it's shared video RAM which is a mistake in itself.
you don't want win xp. it's not even supported anymore by microsoft. you definitely don't want vista ffs. same for windows 8I'm FINALLy gonna get a new laptop...this thing is rubbish, 40gig HD, 1gig ram, nothing works, dvd/cd can't read or write any more, 2 usb slots, no card readers, keyboard failed, (using an old wired plugin usb keyboard now)...painfully slow...loads of software just won't run on it...
anyway, my budget is £350, I can't see us needing anything pricier, we're not gamers, I'm gonna play GTA5 but I'm getting a ps3 to play that....unless a 350quid laptop would be better....
is it possible (or is it a stupid idea) to still get XP instead of vista or win8 or whatever?
Don't want any preloaded software, office suites etc....
Thankyou! I know I periodically ask this, but this time we got to do it....
15inch screen is ample, 17 inch be nice though...![]()
laptops in general are IMO a poor compromise without a docking station (with proper keyboard, monitor and mouse), if you mean to use them seriously.
pee ess: I'll believe it (you getting a new lappy) when it ipplepens ;p
next April XP is over.
