I have a few bikes, but one of them is a Vespa 200PX. Already having my own scooter with some custom work done must give me some bonus points surely???

Pffft Vespa...that's a girls Scoot mate, you want a proper Lambretta that blows up or breaks down every 50miles, you'll be riding an auto before you know it;)

Now whilst I like Lammers, I could go with the sorting something out on every trip; too much drama. However, I would hand up my license before I would get on an auto.

My other bikes are mid-range 400-650cc, so I'm not power mad or speed or anything like that; but I just could get on mind own an auto. I think I would get a Honda 50 before an auto, at least that has gears.

You on one yourself?
 
Got a yamaha bws second hand about 4 years ago and it hasn't had a single problem to this day :D great little thing.
edit; just had a look and it's got 20,000 km on the clock

We shall be castigated for derailing the Mod recruitment thread....that or someone will chop the posts out and move them to the gibberings thread.

Truth be told I've had allsorts fo bikes and scooters including a 400 Burgman which I crashed about 12 months ago and smashed my leg to bits.#

I put my Series 2 Lambretta back on the road a few months ago but I don't use it for transport

I do a lot of commuting on mine. I always used bikes never even bothered with my test for a car; cars just don't do it for me.

My Dad's last bike was a puch 250cc which was big for its time; but that is showing my age.

My mam is 82 and when I take her out for the day she gets on the Vespa as pillion, its the only one she can get on at her age. It's gas seeing her in all the kit and a lid and there is a little granny under it when you lift the lid up:)

You won't know yourself when you move up to bigger bikes; just stay safe.
