We have had to say goodbye to effie this past week, and as a result have decided to get new blood in the team.
Who shall step up to the challenge and work as part of the ever-fair, ever-competent and ever-EADD modteam?

We're looking for someone who is harm-reduction focussed and has a reasonable degree of drugs-knowledge and experience who practises and will promote harm reduction. If you think you can commit to putting time into modding EADD by checking in most days, keeping up with all the posts, actively modding, enforcing the BLUA aka rules, be part of the mod team and still post regularly yourself - then we'd like you to apply!

If you would like to apply, please send a PM to Albion, MailMonkey and knock, with a brief summary of why you're up for the task.

Please include the following information in your application:

  • Why you want to moderate EADD?
  • What relevant knowledge / experience you have of modding, drugs and harm-reduction?
  • How much time could you dedicate to modding?
  • How you would improve EADD?

Closing date for applications:
August 1st 2013

This round of applications is now over.

Good luck, EADDers!

I don't know!

Though I'm assuming the reason she's been removed from staff is because of inactivity, and that's never a good thing :/.

Jesus you're right Brimz this isn't looking great. On behalf of the mods, as far as we know, Effie is just fucking fine :) She's just not been on BL much.

She's alive and well, she's just been plagued by computer issues. We waited as long as we could for her to return to regular posting...It just never happened, unfortunately. We've been a mod down in spirit for quite a while now, I think it's time to give someone else the chance.

I'm glad to hear it, then! I just know, for me & quite a few others, when someone is a mod & then goes AWOL, there's usually a lot of IRL shit going on. Sorry if my post was mistook :).

I say poor effie because getting taken off staff sucks unless its voluntary =D

Wisbech Kru! How could I have forgotten his effervescent personality, broad scope of knowledge and HR-centred approach?
