Yeah, same. When I went into hospital for my operation, I told them everything I'd taken because fuck dying under anaesthetic because I didn't mention I'd been caning it, but in a general GP situation I wouldn't mention it. My GP knows all about my drug use as I was around 17 or 18 when I was caning it and I was a bit dumb. Now I wouldn't say a single thing unless I'd definitely overdosed on something. That said, it would be worth looking up the laws on GP disclosure in France (assuming you're there?). Tried to look myself but my French is rusty as hell. It's the grammar you fuckers employ mostly translate it once word for word and then rephrase it so you don't sound like an Englishman trying to speak his own language like he would if he was abroad and trying to communicate with a foreigner.

I remember reading that aMT has very slight MAOI properties, but they're so slight that I doubt it would have interfered with the C (I've taken it while being on Amitriptyline and an old acquaintance took it while being on Fluoxetine and all was well). But stranger things have happened at sea

It really is lush outside (lovely sunset pick by the way Cornish! ), but having trouble sleeping in general and with it being gas mark 10 at midnight... That's just taking the piss in my eyes
My only relief is that slightly cool breeze awwwwww it's heavenly {^.^}

Anyhoo, just popped in so I'm gunna pop out again, have a small glass of prosecco (proper hits the spot in this heat!) and do some writing or music or something.

The same thing happened to my step mum the other week, she certainly doesn't do drugs!

She went to the DR who sent her over to A&E for a couple of routine checks.

Pagey, have you drunk enough water? Dehydration can totally mess with your pulse and blood pressure. Especially as it's really warm today

Too fucking right about the heat, mate. I've given up on duvets completely now, just got a blanket I have over my legs and that's it. Only way I can sleep at the moment, though Dad finally found the key to the window in my bedroom so that's helped. Though he did confiscate the fan I found.

That's what I don't get about this family. Something can stay in storage for years without anyone touching/eating/using it and the second I do, all hell breaks loose.

I've been trying to find the laws in France but the internet is weirdly empty when it comes to that! I'd told him last year when I was a bit more naive about all this that I was abusing benzos and he helped me out rather than write it on my record but he's also particularly cool so it might have been due to that rather than laws. I dunno, I guess I won't mention the stims unless it looks like it's something serious, which seems very unlikely anyway.

Well, mixing cocaine with aMT is definitely quite dangerous and I think it puts a *lot* of strain on the heart but I only used the aMT two days after the coke so I don't see how they could have interfered. What's a little weird is xanax isn't helping for some reason

No, I'm in Paris right now. They're generally pretty cool when it comes to drugs here but yeah, I'm not sure...I know I'm completely dehydrated and I haven't really eaten in two days either so I guess everything is just contributing. But I'm forcing myself to eat and drink and stuff today. Anyway I'm very happy I posted on here as I was getting quite worried on my own but sounds like it's nothing to panic about at all

i really doubt the coke would interfere as you say from the duration of use apart in a typical way but our bodies have ways of telling us stuff i guess. just take it easy

I can't figure out where to ask this, sorry...has anyone had heart problems after using lots of stims for a while? I binged a bit last week and in the past couple of days I've had a lot of trouble breathing and my heart really hurts. Also I can't go up a couple stairs without my chest feeling completely compressed. This has literally never happened before and I'm getting a bit worried. I dunno if I should wait a bit more and see if it passes or if I should go to the ER?

(oh yeah and I've been completely sober for about 30 hours)

Yeah I feel really on edge. My pulse is at about 110 bpm even though it's usually around 60, and I've just been sitting at a desk all day I'll take a benzo and see if I can get an appointment for tomorrow or something. Thanks

many of the physical symptopms are symptoms of anxiety, being anxious and keep checking your pule will increase your anxiety, and also your pulse. After giving up coke after 5-7 years or so pretty much daily use I kept going to the docs with tremors, racing heart, dead limbs, vertigo....all sorts, he kept trying to tell me it was about anxiety, BUT I "KNEW" it was down to stim damage. turned out the doc was right.

I would advise taking the benzo and try and chill out for an hour. If there's no shift downwards in bpm maybe try and get an appointment today? I'm not trying to freak you out; this was just the advice I was given the other day when in hospital my pulse went haywire.

if she keeps checking her pulse and worrying about what it might be, her pulse will stay high. 110bpm is no danger for someone of Pagey's age.

Agreed. My GP was always very good and never put anything about my drug use in my records. However I was refused life insurance a few years ago, because I had once been sent to A&E by my GP after a speed session (nothing to do with heart/panic, a suspected torsion of the testicle 8( ), anyway, once i'd been admitted i mentioned to the duty consultant that i'd taken speed a couple of days previous. this went on my records.

I think GP's use their discretion to an extent. hospitals are bound to report everything.

Your eating and drinking will be affecting you, affecting your blood pressure, giving you heasrt flutters, making you more edgy. Eat, and drink, and try to stop worrying. Take another xanax if need be, it won't do any harm.
