Usually he mostly just irritates me but he just went up a gazillion places in my list of bestest people in the world ever :D

Also, I knew there was a reason I decided to lay off the booze. It'll come to me... Yes. Yes. Here it comes. Ah yes. There wasn't a reason (silly me) there was the concept of reason itself. Doh! :!

Dawkins certainly knows more about his heavy-specialised field than I could assimilate in a lifetime, but sadly he knows less about theology, history, politics (and modesty) than your average pub pseud.

Being an average pub pseud myself, I speak as an authority.

They certainly are, Myshkin. As are all the others that occurred to me today. Too many to list really. I'd need a pallet and a forklift to dump 'em all in this post cos a keyboard simply couldn't cope with the strain.

Also, spot on with the Dawkins stuff. Man's a genius. Man's a bellend. I do wish some clever people were clever enough to notice when they are talking utter, utter bollocks, making fools of themselves and doing the cause they hoped to help more harm than good.

Also noticed this story in the Sun. Not interested in what Robbie Williams intends to do with his child but is an interesting question: is it better to make sure your kids get the best possible quality drugs and even take them together (if they choose to take drugs) or just leave 'em to do their own thing? Have known a few parents who take drugs with their kids and don't really see a problem with it at all. Other than embarrassing the hell out your offspring, perhaps. Which is hardly a downside anyway :D

Aye, I think Robbie Williams is a cunt but I'd probably have a similar attitude. Couldn't see me doing them with my kids though but share and share alike n all that. Used to buy speed and weed off a lass years ago who would sit there hoofing up massive lines with her mum. My ex did the same with her's. I can't imagine doing that, be weird as fuck even though I'm close to my Mum. Would with other relatives though, me cousins n some of my uncles but that's pretty standard I think.

Just got in and had a knock on the front door n a kid there going 'can we get our ball?' and I felt really old all of a sudden. Then my housemate offered me £500 to run outside naked and 'touch at least two of them before you get arrested' and I suddenly fell back into place.

Thing is, I completely agree with most of his anti-religion stuff but he's just such a bad figurehead it's ridiculous. I'm very glad he wrote The God Delusion (which I've never actually read - have only ever read a few of his pop science biology books) cos it brought the debate very much to the forefront after being always being barely discussed previously. I just wish he'd bowed out long ago before he descended into self-parody and left the actual debating to people that have more of a clue cos he just comes over as pig ignorant.

I concur, Snoll-de-Roll. I could never take drugs with my parents (not that they'd ever take drugs anyway :D) cos it would just be plain weird. My familial relationships are all just plain weird anyway, mind. My stepdad went through a stage of wanting to get stoned with me (presumably because he wanted to relive his hippified yoofdom but also cos my mother hated him smoking) and that was never anything short of excruciatingly awkward. But that was the case whether smoking or not. Must admit he got some belting weed though - far better than I could ever get :! - so kinda played along just to get to indulge :D

But in general, I really don't think it's a bad idea at all to take drugs with your kids (assuming they take drugs anyway). Far better to know what they are doing - not to mention to be able to give them HR advice and keep an eye on 'em. Much better than them having to sneak around behind yer back and you having to either pretend not to notice or to completely freak out about it all. Also great to have such an open and close relationship with your kids.

Also, bwaaaaahhahahahahhahahaa! £500 ferra bit of nekkid child-touching?!? Doooooo eeeeeeet!!! =D
 
Yeah haha for sure, my parents are very much drug-free bar booze, though they no longer object to my drug taking and whatnot now I'm all grown up and are oddly curious about it. My Grandma smoked pot, mostly medicinally, and I'd have liked to get stoned with her but I was only eighteen or so when she died and my Mum freaked out when she caught me sneaking a fag off her soooo. It did explain finding her sat in the living room at 3am watching QVC and eating crisps when I was younger though ;) A habit I inherited, I'm sort of proud to note. But yeah I'd happily let my kids do their thing and hopefully be educated enough to help them out if things got rough.

And yeah I did debate it, I mean my criminal record is clean so what's a bit of sex offending? If I was fast enough to get away I'd be on it :sus:

edit: the worst thing was the first thing I thought wasn't 'that's paedo-y' but 'nah I don't really have the body for it'

Mine began terrible like usual but ended up going great, I got my baby for 48 hours all too myself (black cocker spaniel)
My mom & stepdad are going away for a short break & disturbed my cosy gouge to drop the dog off with some expensive Coffee & some Mr Kipling summer fruit pies

I know it may sound pathetic to most of you but I love that dog with all my heart, such a small thing has made my day, I think the dog is pleased as it howled & wagged it's stumpy tail for a good 10 mins when it saw me. It only shut up because I bribed it with some pie, now it keeps licking it's lips :) <3

Police in sweden are hunting a man who was caught on CCTV having sex with a bicycle. A hooded stranger punctures a tyre then masturbates as it deflates police in the city of Osterlund are probing a possible link to a similar string of crimes that occurred in the area back in 2007.
