The new video button that everyone seems eager to use inappropriately in every thread is rapidly slowing down my ability to load any BL thread on the IPad. And it looks shit.

Fuck your progress. How did we survive without stupid YouTube opening pics eh?
 
So we have done the video thingy .

Did we really have to ? I used to go in NEMD till they did that , now i hardly ever do cos it takes ages to load a page .

We should have had a Vote .
 
^ I quite like the video embedding but it does need to be used a bit sparingly if possible cos is a nightmare when there are fuckloads onna page like in the Tunes thread.

Indeed. And am sure that is the case. It's just that he is usually one of the first to notice when other regulars disappear without warning and tends to be quite concerned in such situations so doesn't seem his style. But, as we all know, is just a part of forum life that people sometimes have time away for real life stuffs. I'm sure he's just dandy but would be nice to hear from him.

It's ok if the Video actually adds to the experience or it's a live performance but some folk will use it just to show the fukin Album Cover for 5 minutes :!

Yeah i was wondering about Max a while back then got side tracked for a short time but know i'm back & he still not here .
Hopefully he has got a job & is to busy that would be good cos he was getting dicked about by the DWP something chronic
 
No totally different. It's written by David Simon (writer of the Wire) and uses a few actors from the Wire as well. Typically brilliant dialogue as you would expect and the same format. It's also very very good.

Also check out Generation Kill a seven part series also by David Simon. Got Ziggy from the Wire as one of the lead actors.

Have got the first two seasons of Treme here but not started watching yet. Will have to have a looksee at Generation Kill too, methinks, cos David Simon is such a brilliant writer <3

Agreed. I'd almost like to see a separate Tunes and Tunes wiv Vidz thread so you can avoid the latter if the loading times are a problem. Would probably be a bit ovva fuckabout though cos two chooonz threadz would be a bit overkilly.
