Yesterday was ace weather, and according to last night's TV weather, today is meant to be the hottest day of the year so far ... but then there's gonna be a cold spell, so make the most of today while it's good.
I'm gonna be in the garden for most of it, finishing off some raised veg boxes I've made, and then making some bespoke dog defences from 4.8 trelis strips to use to keep the dog from plundering my newly planted borders and boxes.
But first, I'm gonna be a total hedonist and rock on down to B&Q, braving pensioner day to see what reduced plants they've got ... they normally have a ton of cheap stuff on wednesdays, and I'm poor, so needs must. I rock my own pink rinse anyway, so I may as well join the old lady crowd

Sun is out and the pollen count is skyrocketing. Yay. I hate it when you wake up and can hardly open your eyes due to hayfever. Today in my area is going to be particularly bad by the way it's started out. Living next to fields and stuff has it's down side.

I woke up sneezing too, and I don't even suffer that badly. Feeling it today though, must say. Even from this bunker in the middle of Gunchester, where no fields can be seen for miles.
It's pretty funny that I went through the arse end of winter with streaming eyes and a runny nose (from w/d) only to find myself in late spring... with streaming eyes and a runny nose. Like stepping in two dog turds in one trip to the offy. Almost.
The sneezing was actually more satisfactory than the two apologetic orgasms I managed to muster over the course of the morning. Not that I need to share that, but it's allegedly good to share, y'know?

Used to get so bad round here in summer that I had to have the cold air off and the windows up driving home from college or I'd end up half blind by the time I got home. Was trying to think of the downsides to living in the countryside the other day and you've nailed it there.But whatever, still peaceful here and I am still finding excuses not to go back to Hull to finish cleaning and packing. Excuses which have now levelled out at 'I don't want to' which is frankly a stupid way to behave at this age so off on Friday and will force myself to get it all done over the weekend. Til then I'm gonna get some housework done and then sit in the hammock and read all day.

I've never suffered from heyfever or allergies of any kind, but I woke up sneezing and it continued for about an hour. I sleep with my bedroom window open wide tho, so maybe that doesn't help or summat.
eh, my uterus is CAINING like fuck this morning. Day 1. It's normally not too bad but today it feels like Freddy Kruger succeeded in setting up a squat there while I was sleeping.
