@HWH--that is gorgeous! I'm heading in the opposite direction soon (Ecuador!) but Alaska has been calling for a while now. The damn thing about Bucket-lists is that they take money. Foul reality.....but, who knows? maybe I will meet someone in Ecuador with a desperate need for a house-sitter in Alaska.
@Pastel--those photographs are so lovely. They do certainly make me think of Micheal. I just wrote on his shrine yesterday, thinking about his work and his life and the hat I knitted for him. The photo of the mossy rocks underwater looks like the rainforest from high above the earth. Maybe the sky is water, maybe our biggest trees are moss. Maybe we are tiny, tiny, tiny beings. I also love the slightly loop-looking happy-face leaves. Is that water cress close up?
@Mysterie and Illyria--I have never seen a picture of either of you and I had both of you genders wrong in my mind! For an old lady like me the nudie thread often just serves the purpose of letting me know what gender the person I am relating to is.
I have to say however, that I kind of like not knowing (gender, that is). But it is certainly good to see both of your beautiful faces. Mysterie, I have always been a fan of yours in the Words forum.
