Nice haul!
Though, I don't think it's a great idea to photograph stashes of that size & post them on forums where you are potentially under the nose of the law..
Especially since the recent media attention surrounding the harsh outcomes for guilty mushroom pickers :P

Myself and friends been having massive success in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, particularly the last few days I have came across almost too many to pick.

Abit early but we went for a look here in WA but didnt find much, anyone had any luck down south?

But we did find like 6 big fucken field mushrooms that were delicious.

had some great success down south in the bunbury area ....went for my first pick eva n found fuckin heaaaaps of cubes (the ones that grow on wood) so much so that we had to leave some at the site to come back to later ;)

Please be careful man, 'cubes' don't grow on wood. Psilocybe Subaeruginosa is the mushroom you are probably looking for, but they don't grow on wood. They grow in and around woodlands, woodchips, things like that, but generally not directly out of a piece of wood (log, fallen tree etc). There are many lookalikes that do though, some are deadly, and my area currently has thousands of very convincing lookalikes growing out of wood left right and centre. Go to Shroomery and get your find ID'd before consuming :).

I found some suspicious looking mushrooms that grew in my backyard near woodchips. I had them identified by Shroomery and they turned out to be Leratiomyces ceres (poisonous) instead of Psilocybe Subaeruginosa. The only major differences between the two were the fact that the caps were slightly redder and didn't bruise blue on the latter.

Just watch out, my good man.

I find mint tea does the trick nicely, just throw a few mint teabags in with a brew.

I got mint tabs (herbal a course) great for nausea and belive it or not it goes well crushed up in your ginger water...or else my tastebuds are fucked...but I do/did enjoy chewing, eaating MDA/MA/DEA......loved it if i didnt plugg em

Dude are you seriously joking?! How are you even qualified to go shroom picking if you don't even know the bloody name of the mushrooms?! Thats kinda the first thing you learn.... I am seriously hoping you haven't gone and poisoned yourself but honestly mate even if you don't poison anyone you have been on here long enough you should know to thoroughly research before you pick, obviously you didn't bother...

Yeah I mainly pick between Donnybrook and Bridgetown and have always had luck but think I may have been bit early (3 weeks ago) might have to have another go.

As for other people saying you may have picked dangerous shrooms, Ive never come across cubes in WA are you sure they are legit?

^ They def aren't legit cubes, cubes grow on cow shit not wood chips. He is either mistaken and got subs or went looking for the wrong shroom and has god knows what.

Maybe he just got the names mixed up as something else was on his mind? Who knows...

I've never had shrooms but heres hoping this year things change! Hopefully will have some good times to report soon enough :)

where are you gonna be hunting

I've never hunted so I've no idea. I'd probably just wuss out and purchase shrooms for my first time. I love the idea of picking them though. Maybe I'll spend some time versing myself with identification and location and then go on a mad wee shroom hunt.

I live in Scotland so plenty of greenspace but not sure how shroom friendly it is.
