Nice one! I don't have any kind of sound system at all. TV sound comes out of the teeny TV speakers, and computer has some good but small speakers.

It's on my to do list to get proper hi fi, but I can't stand hi fi douches. I'm scared of going into Richer Sounds and coming out thousands of pounds poorer with a bag of oak cone feet and gold plated speaker cables. I'll sort it eventually, I'd love to have stonking sound.

I'm still stimmed as a stimfiend from the last dose of 4-FMA yesterday at 4pm. First I was annoyed that it was lasting so long... now I'm just kinda chuffed to be fucked without "I got fucked on a sunday" guilt.

Must mow my lawn and do garden things at some point today.

Well actually if you think about it, say he's selling each one for 10 USD a pop. That's 100 dollars a gram for what probably isn't top-quality coke.

It's okay, merging posts is my mod-speciality, it's a piece of fucking piss to do, i don't knowwhy we have to do it, I can't see the problem with double posts, probably server space or something. Anyway, i trawl the forums every day looking for a double post, merge the cunts, and people see me "modding".

I've tried oral Coke HCL a couple of times when out and couldn't get anything else, I never snort drugs in club toilets.

I have a very random question -

If your unemployed and somebody else unemployed starts living with you ( you offer them your spare room/sofa for a few months example). They then change their address to yours but then simply vanishes / stops claiming benifits / and you never see them again.

Legally that person would still be living at your address but you may never see them again - can you see any legal issues ? Would/could this screw up your benefits ?
If the person who moved in with you chucked you a few hundred quid a year to simply not mention it would that work?

He/she could have debts, could be opening lines of credit etc,opening dodgy bank accounts....I don't know (I'll ask my missis when she's up) how it will affect your benefits...What reason have they given for wanting to keep the address? Must be of some import to them if they're paying you SWIY to do so. Could be handy for you if you got this stupid bedroom tax shit, but I doubt you have it there....

Well when she asked me I said 'look sweetheart, I'm not going to get your hopes up or lie to you but there's no way we can afford one so you won't be getting one OK'.

After I quit the fags I started putting the money to one side I was saving and a little extra from my benefit and I've managed to get £300 and the missus agreed at the time that it would be a good idea. Well she didn't straight away but I made a decent argument. She is growing up in a technological world etc., most secondary schools use them for work etc. eventually she agreed if I could save the money. Which I have.

Well now she's changed her mind and think she's too young. Grrrr. In fact I think she's probably right I just wanted to get a special gift for my special girl on her birthday from her Daddy. Hey ho.

It's my girls birthday coming up, I always think having a birthday in May is great because of the weather and it splits the year up between Christmas quite nicely.

I won't be letting her play HOTD:Overkill though. I played the PS3 version and it has this song on it. Surely that can't be in the Wii version?

So pleased. I bought a new Logitech (Z506) sound system and just got it all hooked up to my pc. When i first switched it on, it was so tinny i felt that horrible feeling of despair, but a little twiddling of knobs later and it sounds "stonking". Tested it with Ting Tings - Hands. Its a very full, deep, rich, clear sound for the price of £60. It looks cool too.

Fuckin delighted. It's a million times better than my last one which is going straight in the bin.

I know this will only be of interest to anyone wanting a new pc sound system but here's all the details.

Logitech speakers are always very good bang for buck. I have an old 2:1 setup which only cost £25 a few years back and the sound is very good for the cost.

So, no. Certainly not too young. Though at a few hundred nicker that's quite an extravagant present. They are basically expensive toys. So yeah, go for it.

Yeah I've seen loads of newspaper articles about 3 year old's addicted to tablets so I'm sure it's not above her. Also saw a documentary on schooling and this secondary school gave all it's kids a tablet to do their work on so I'm guessing all schools will follow suit sooner or later.

I know it's expensive but I'm a sucker for her smile man.

Ceres would an android powered tablet be the better option then? I've never been a fan of anything Apple but unfortunately she's been exposed and brainwashed by peer pressure and advertising so even though I've told her there is no way on this earth she can have one I just have this feeling she'd feel let down if I got a cheaper (but better technically) tablet computer.

He'sgetting on really well with his tablet, we got him one of these to go with it....

He was well chuffed, he'd wanted a DS. he's only really using it for games etc at the moment. But he does get homework and stuff now where he has to use the internet to research stuff, so willbe useful too.

He went over to a mate's house last night who's 10, and has some sort of iPad, or a massive iPod with touchscreen etc, he was a bit jealous of my son's tablet, cos being Android you haven't got all the hassle and there are more free games and things.

As for age, i dunno, a few of my son'smates have tablets, almost always generic Chinese ones like his. And he was asking for a DS. Which we thought was a bit shit.


If a lot of your daughter's friend s have iPads,tablets etc,then maybe...but really,an iPad, for a 5 year old.????? £400 or however much they are? We're thinking chances are that the tablet will get dropped at some point soon, and a £69 quid tablet (that does everything a kid would use an ipad for) is a lot less hassle/expense to replace.

(Oh and Ben, we don;t play HOTD Overkill together, 18 certificate and all. Play HOTD 2 and 3 though)

There are much cheaper alternatives, seriously Apple is just too pricey. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and it works flawlessy, true it's not that cheaper than an iPad but there are a few others that are. I do like the Apple Store better for apps, but the Google Play shop you can access on Android tabs is also pretty decent.

Whatever you do make sure you block the ability to purchase aps or your kid will bankrupt you, guaranteed. No paying on the app store, no in game purchases, seriously man be careful of that.
