I'm a long way from civilisation. The sorting office is in town though so am guessing we get early deliveries and the even tinier places in surrounding areas have to wait. Post is always early here. If it's not come by 9am it probably ain't coming at all. Occasional Mrs Shambles lives a few miles away on her own up a mountain and has to wait til nearly lunchtime.

In youngling news, I'd always thought Ceres was pretty young. Under 25 anyway. Then again more or less everybody seems young to me these days. Including Jancrow probably.
 
I assume Ceres is quite young, but not MEGA young, but I realised the other day that I also assume that he looks like his avatar, which he probably doesn't.

I think I'm about the same age as you, Shambles.

Draw comfort from the fact that grandad mailmonkey is older than us all.
 
Avatars tend to confuzzle me too. Well, not exactly confuzzle but it really is hard to not see people as their avatar. Especially if it has a face :sus:

I hadn't actually realised MM was an elder statesman until I happened to mention being glad I've still got a couple years to go before having to face up to being forty. Or mostly dead from old age as I tend to think of it. Apparently life begins at forty. Which would be nice.

Will feign puppy-based excitement despite not being very excitable when it comes to doggies - I am aware an aversion to puppies is borderline insane. Probably due to childhood trauma of getting a puppy, having it around for a weekend or so, then having to give it back cos it bit me baby brother's nose. And shat everywhere. To be honest I don't think any of us were prepared for the level of biohazard involved. Was one of those Andrex puppy types too. No wonder they pick 'em for advertising arsepaper.
 
Morning folks .

I survived the Clarks Shopping Village it was actually quite bearable as shopping experiences go ( usually a fukin nightmare ) Got mesekf some Trainers & Red Hoody & a wallet for under £50 .
That will keep me going for a year as far as buying new clothes . As you lot know i usuallyuse Charity shops.

Banana & Blueberry Cake today sounds lush :)

Lost 3 vallies at the farmers market pissed off about that . Nice day though .

I do look like my avatar in terms of shape, but I wouldn't be caught sporting a white shirt and tie.
 
Haha! It is the old bastards time of day. Up, ethylphenidated and off to see the family on the south coast. Wish me luck.

Marmz your dog looks lovely. We had to give ours away recently. Still heartbroken about it... :(

Damn this cake is lush .

It's got proper Mascarpone on top & actuall blueberries inside of a Banana Loaf . That is pretty special for 90p . I wish that everyone could get hold of these cakes but alas it is a family bizniz that only come out once aweek at Bath farmers market .

If they could reproduce these quality cakes & sell them all over folk would be mad for them .
