Hmmm, I may try to replicate that cake. My blueberry cakes are okay, as are my bananananana loaves, so shouldn't be too tricky to figure something out.
 
It's been going for at least 10 years . Part of the excellent little farmers market we have every saturday .
They were 40p back then !! The Big Ones that are huge are between £2,50- £3.00 it is the best cake stall i have ever come across & i would put it up against anyone in the country :)
 
I meant their stall & It's consistent a varied range of cakes over the past decade .

Swampdragon is going on one of their creations anyway so is already showing Respect to the Best in The West :)
 
Rainy, cold and windy today. Awesome it bollocksed all plans for afternoon outdoor activities so now I can stay on the computer guilt-free until tonight.

How good is Welcome Reality by Nero? Fucking hell, awesomely produced.

I'd be more than happy to be a taster in the cake off as I love cakes, its free food and I want to become a fat bastard for once in my life.

Gonna try to not take any vals over the weekend as noticed its becoming a daily habit popping a couple in the day with a cup of tea

I wish to enter this challenge! Quick breads & muffins are a specialty of mine. :) Although, I have yet to perfect my banana bread. :(

oh god I'm hungry now! Those look good. I'm waiting for a sourdough starter to show signs of life at the moment. tricky business. I love baking.
 
Healthy breakfast: smoothie, Belvita, tea. Two cups of Ovaltine with added cocoa. Few glasses of water.

Closely followed by two joints, a swig of scotch and a healthy dose of speed with a naughty little crumb o' sub. Up the Gary, of course.

Ah well. :D

i made this the other day, was nice. looking forward to better weather bringing better eating.
 
no food for me in the mornings as can't face eating first thing but 3 cups of tea inside me and then I'm ready to face the world.

Those are VERY tricky - is all the yeast in your starter wild/from the air? What are you planning to bake with it exactly? I really want to explore artisan bread baking but my housemate just went on the Paleo diet!
