I have to drive down to town for an online marketing conference, my former employer sent me an invitation to attend but put my name wrong on the card, so I don't know whether they'll give me a badge at the front desk, he used my facebook name which is fairly different from my real name:o

That place has dozens of fire exits anyway, you shouldn't open them but people do to walk outside and smoke a fag, so if they refuse entry I'd just have to walk back to the parking lot and sneak around the place, walking around the perimeter I should find some open door, if security say anything I can tell them I was just out for a cig and left my badge at my desk. It worked before.

I awoke only an hour n a half ago. Woke up to the news and sight of that fertiliser plant explosion in West, Texas!
FUUUUUUCKIIIIIN HEEEELLLLLL!!!!It was absolutely colossal! Looked like a small nuke had been set off 8o
It's all a bit weird, all these blasts going on. This one seems benign - I mean who'd attack a small Texan town? - But you never know :\

Then there's these 4 blokes in Luton pleading guilty for organising all that terrorist shizzle.
It feels like the whole world's going to blow up! And I suppose seeing as, as Jeremy Paxman put it, a fat little man in a boiler suit (Kim Jong Un) has his war-thought hat on, it could all go to shit. Then again, he might be just kissing his guns and posing.

A'ternoon, all :)

Lovely and sunny here but so windy that walking into town had to be replaced by tacking. Aggressively windy.

No appointment with DSP today cos she was ill so still in the dark as to wha' g'wan with me meds. And in further annoyance the cashpoint hardly let me take any cashmoney out. Said I was over my daily limit despite not having made any withdrawals since the weekend cos I've had nowt in there. Probably for the best as I've got the least pay of a payday I've had in ages. I really don't like being so responsible and paying off bills. Is just endless. Earliest possible break in payments is not til fukkin September. Gonna be a truly shit summer :\

In better news, didn't buy baccy at the shop earlier so maybe this no smoking lark might stick. Could really do with the extra cash anyway 8)

It's mighty warm today, not only I managed to make my way into the conference but got a voucher for the corporate hospitality room and got a free lunch, pizza and potato hash browns, no alcohol though, I hate how americanized we're becoming, a few years ago same conference would have had open bar with beer and spirits. Anyway I'm back now, so sunny was dying wearing a suit.

Was actually wondering about Kara last night as it happens. He did used to make me titter. Dunno what happened to him really. May well have moved into Goatse's anus fulltime.

Is going better than I expected so far. Has actually been dead easy to avoid cigs and cut down on nicotine with this inhalator thingy. At least it has been so far. First major hurdle overcome (not buying baccy as soon as I had cash to do so) but still got other - bigger - ones to come. Booze without cigs is gonna be a bit of a headfuck. Will see how it goes...
 
Luckily avoided the dreaded cancer weed by virtue of having a 60 a day mum and 40 a day dad. My mum has had three heart attacks before she was 60 and my dad is recovering from bowel cancer at 55 so all in all probably good. I'll just die of cirrosis like my old alky grandad... :\

Great work though Shambles. Keep it up!

My dad is now teetotaller in every sense but mum is still getting through about 40 I think...

Daddy dearest was a smoker but Mamasham most definitely not. Most of my family on both sides died from smoking-related stuffs though so I really do need to knock it on the head sooner rather than later.

Fark sake. Bastard freezing now the sun's gone in :!

That's two days running I've had to put the heating on mid-afternoon :(
 
It is cold. Had thunder lightning and hail storms here earlier...

Working from home today and indulging in a little ethylphenidate. Don't know why everyone else hates it so much, I find the high nicely sharp and contented. Great with booze too...
