Feel like complete shit.

Had 2 exams today, so last night I took 30mg adderall IR around 8 PM to start studying and I barely got any sleep but I think I did good on my exams. Tommorrow is my last exam, which I haven't even started looking over any of the material yet or printing out the notes (and it's 6 PM, shit) so I just took another 40 mg IR and I'm cooking my first meal of the day hoping I'll be able to eat it. I usually never take adderall, haven't honestly taken it since high school but I got so much shit I need to do and so much little time.

Looking forward to tonight though, I only have about a bowls pack left and I haven't smoked at all today. Hoping it'll be enough to calm me down and get me to sleep at a decent hour.

Studies show you remember stuff the best on the same drugs you were on when you first learned it due to state dependent memory. I wouldn't use amphetamines for a test if you didn't use them every day to go to class and learn all the material.

Damn I'm taking cognitive psych right now, I feel like I should know that :( Better get into my normal mind state and smoke a bowl ;)

The class I'm studying for right now is intro to sociology (lol it's a joke). Most of the stuff I've already gone over several times in high school sociology but I need a little refreshing. Honestly, the lecture is 400+ people and out of the 9 lectures we've had since the beginning of this semester I went to two being the first and second day. I know most people would think I'm a complete idiot and wasting money going to school, but all this class consists of is the teaching assistant reading power points word for word. He then posts the power points online, which I can just read from home and not waste 2 and a half hours of my time each week (which really isn't a lot, I shouldn't be complaining).

Anyways it's only over the first four chapters of my book, the first two have been complete BS being brief history + basics of sociology and the second chapter was about different methods of collecting research. Next we have culture, and I finish it off with "Socialization and the Life Course". Sounds like a good time. If I was smart and would of looked at the material beforehand I wouldn't of taken any adderall, but too late now.

What C.H. said is generally true but there is a difference between a person actually learning something and those annoying classes which seem to be mostly slides read aloud as you have described. Seeing as how your using adderall while you are cramming for these tests and also while your taking the tests you will be fine. Your rejogging your memory of all the classes while you study. This means your most recent recall of the material will be from while you were under the influence of adderall.

You will be fine. But def make sure you eat something, cause if not you will get weak and your brain will get very scattered with out energy for your body to burn. If you cant get much food down go for things that will be high in protien and carbs that your body can turn into enegry.

You will be good. I have an adderall script myself, Iv had inattentive AD/HD all my life. I take up to 40mgs a day as needed, and I find that even though people say drugs work better on an empty tummy, its important to give your body food.

Right on :) I'm glad we got smart people like you and CH around here in CD lol.

I had some salmon and steamed vegetables a few hours ago but that's all I've eaten all day. Tried to make it healthy instead of the processed full of preservatives junk I usually eat. I figure when I wake up tomorrow I'll probably be starving so before I go on my last cram session and take my adderall I'll make sure I eat some breakfast. Then I'll have no more exams and it will be the weekend. fuck yeah.

Hope I can get some sleep tonight though, I just smoked my last bowl as I was writing this and it didn't do much in terms of mellowing me out.

Ah I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep, but this 17 dab gauntlet is crazy. Some sick glass too.

I have to check my cellphone when I wake-up at noon just to see what day it is, the weather prediction for the day, what my errands might be, phone calls I need to make, & appts I need to keep. It's amazing how much I rely on that thing.
My day starts at noon & ends around 3-4 a.m. I'm retired, after working nights for 30 yrs.

Do you enjoy being retired? My dad can't stand it. I honestly don't think he even liked his job the way he talked about it, but now that he's home all day he's bored out of his mind. His whole life he's been working working working nonstop even on the weekend. 70 hour weeks weren't out the norm for him and working 12 hour shifts for 2-3 weeks straight including saturdays wasn't either. He was a chemical engineer and made damn good money, but that's literally what his life has revolved around. He used to work every Holiday besides Christmas Eve including Christmas Day, New Years, Thanksgiving, all of them. We honestly used to worry about him literally working himself to death or having a heart attack, but he made it through and I'm glad.

I don't even have my degree yet and I'm looking forward to retirement %)

AHHH exam time, wish me luck

Its bloody V day.

And I got a date!

A date involving some sticky ass bud, my man ChemSmiles and a sushi bar! Love getting super baked and downing good sushi.

This may actually be one of the best valintines days I have ever had, I normally hate this damn holiday.

^ it's only a holiday if you consider it to be one, it's just any other day of the year to me.

I'm sick as fuuuuuuck. Head cold from hell, man... :(

I never really noticed before how much I depend on my nose when I'm hitting the bowl....

That sucks bro. Hope you feel better soon.

Just got off the phone with my mom, I've had my jetta for only 8 months or so, and she's already trying to talk me into getting rid of it :/. I fuckin love the car, but I don't have any say in it really considering I didn't pay for it.

My little brother is about to get his drivers license, so my parents were going to sell the jetta and get 2 other cars. I know I'm going to end up with a piece of shit again because my parents will only buy cars, but I'm going to try and talk her into leasing me something nice if I go 50/50 on the monthly payment. With a 4k down payment, I could get a 2013 audi a4 for only like 350 a month, or a Lexus IS 250 for even cheaper. Sounds so tempting. Only thing that sucks would be in 2 years I'd have nothing to show for it, and be out a fuck load of money I could of used to put down on cheap car. Still am preferring the leasing option though, hopefully she considers it but it's highly unlikely.

Sorry to hear that man, that sucks.

Yeah the nose is so important.

I didn't realize how hard it was to pull a gravity bong with one hand until someone showed me how to do it.

Strain of the Week

I hate when i cant breath out my nose.

Same.

I just smoked a bowl of some delicious Trinity OG, and am about to dab some wax. Then I'm going to watch the newest Elementary that came out today. :D

I got some dank nuggets (half ounce) at the dispensary for a killer deal; this was the kind of stuff that should have sold for top dollar but was much more affordable. %) The Trinity OG is a very, very strong indica. I can tell it's got a generous CBD level based on the body high and the couch lock effects.

Here's a picture of it:

Just an all around, delicious OG full of trichomes. %)

1st off, best of luck on your upcoming exams. You seem like a sharp-minded person, so I'll bet you pass them with no problems. About retirement, yeah I did miss the newspaper business after 30 yrs working at 1. I kept waking up at 7 a.m. & was about to shower getting ready for work, when it dawned on me that I no longer have to be anywhere in the morning. I gotta admit, it was a great feeling knowing I don't have to answer to anyone anymore.
Retirement came somewhat easy, as I try & keep busy around the house with little projects. Plus my wife is awaiting a lung donor, as she has 4th stage emphysema & needs a lung transplant ASAP. She's top priority. It's fortunate that I am retired, as she can't vacuum, clean, do laundry, etc. She CAN cook, as she's probably the best cook I've ever eaten...:\...& today is our 25th wedding anniversary.<3

congratulations squidhead most marriages dont last a fifth of that these days

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's emphysema, squid head. Much peace and <3 from sunny southern California.

So I've got 5 Roxi 30's... I'm about to oxy this bronchitis into fucking oblivion, smoke some weed and hopefully wake up healthy.

It's a bit of a gamble but I think I'm willing to take it.

congrats on the anniversary, squid.

If my throat hurts, I don't smoke weed, I'll only dab. I hope you're feeling better soon though. :)

I honestly don't even know what you guys are talking about when dabbing is the topic.

The weed smoke doesn't help physically, but it puts me in a mental state to be able to tell my lungs to quit they're bitchin' while I try and get some sleep.
