Do you think people care if they see me smoking weed?

That's absolute minimum apparently, not considering the school zone or drugged driving. Pretty harsh.



It's not that I think there's much wrong with driving slightly high, there are some people who's driving I much prefer when they're a bit baked - makes them much safer and considerate.

Smoking a bong/pipe whilst driving is pretty daft though.

As the guy above said, a tint will work wonders, either that or roll your seat right back and ride low.
 
Wow. Some people here are pretty self-righteous...^^Are you fucking serious? Because I don't want people to see me smoking means that I will crash?
 
I have no problem with doing things that affect no one else but as soon as they start risking the lives of others it starts to piss me the fuck off. If you don't care that's your problem but don't cry when you get put in jail. 5 years ago my friend was injured so badly for a time they thought he would never walk again by some cunt that decided it would be a good idea to drive high.
 
^^I am very sorry about that, honestly. I have been smoking for 8 years (basically straight) and only drive when I am slightly stoned. If anything I am extra cautious and careful when I drive. I think I may have mislead some people with my post. I go to my car, get in and load a one-hit, drive down the street, and rip it on the way back at a stop light. I don't drive around or anything close to that.

My real question was if people saw me anywhere (walking down the street, sitting at a bench, etc.) smoking weed do you think it would offend them/anger them? I am a responsible person with a good job and am graduating in a semester. I feel if I want to a have a couple tokes during the day than that should be my choice.
 
I do exactly the same thing. I think "fuck it, who cares? It's only weed" then I smoke and get paranoid that everyone knows haha.
Like everyone else has said I think you'd be better off smoking a joint outside of your car. But then you have to go back to work with the smell of it all over you so I understand why you'd prefer to do bong hits.
Honestly most people wouldn't care, but it only takes one person to ruin your fun so be careful.
 
DUDE just make yourself some weed pills. plenty of guides up there.
Or if you'd like your THC fix to come up faster, make yourself some nice nasal spray or something
 
Todays society would rather keep to them selves and not get involved in that kinda shit, I mean if someone sees you sparking a bowl WHILE DRIVING than yeah, your risk of getting the cops called on you is much higher if you just chill in a parking lot. I would not worry about it to much, as long as your only smoking it and dont carry OZ on ya you'll be fine, the odds of someone calling the cops are slim

@ OP - everyone has different opinions. You never know who's anti-pot and having a bad day/week/life.

if youre going to do it roll a blunt and only bring that with you. if a cop pulls you over put it out and eat that shit man

It would suck, and I've never had to do it, but it gets rid of the evidence

I think there's always going to be someone. But if it's a joint and people can't smell it, how will they be able to tell it's not a roll up cigarette?
 
i just started a job where i do fiber-glassing and the guys i work with smoke while were driving from one job to the other its really not a big deal cause were always on the highways and nobody really notices. and the good thing about my situation is the truck stinks so much like resin that the weed smell is basically gone as soon as were done. i do realize that smoking and driving is dumb and a big risk but its not too bad as long as your smart about it.
@ OP you should look up WICKIE lighters its a really nice peice that i use while driving or going anywhere i want to smoke on the dl its looks like a lighter but a mouth peice flips up and a built in bowl, has a little storage compartment and self lighting bowl. hard to explain but i use that more then any other im my collection. and have right infront of people in parking lots waling into a store all they see is my hand and then me blowing out the smoke so as long as there not down wind they just think i have a cigg i guess. dont know the rules bout posting names of stuff so sorry mods if i broke any
 
or if you want to be a real badass just take a vaporizer with you in you car with one of these

Great product...
Pros: Perfect for running my Strorz & Bickel Volcano on the go. Going strong after over a year of use. Always in my F150 for when a need arises. Love the "can" design. Fits in my back cup-holder right next to a power-port.

Cons: None!

I dont get it, why would anyone purposely put themselves in these situations ? I'll f'ing never understand.
 
the social stigma of smoking, is pretty strong....

one of the only habits that will result in your character being judged at great distance.

Look the asnwer to this question is always going to vary. It TOTALLY depends on the person who see's you smoking. It will depend on their point of view. But smoking in your car like that in the middle of a busy downtown is like playing Russian roulette. You might go a month of safe smoking in your car and the wrong person see's you and they will call the cops.

Not everyone is gonna care no, and I have taken the risk many times in Memphis when i lived there. But I also knew the cops in Memphis had a lot more shit to worry about than some white girl hitting a bowl in her car. Most of the locals didnt care much either, but that was MEMPHIS. I dont know what the cops or the people of your city are like. You would know more than anyone here.

It just all depends on who see's you smoking.
 
Don't drive while intoxicated. Just seriously, don't do it.

If you wouldn't want your airline pilot doing a short field landing in hail, or wouldn't want your cardiothoracic anesthesiologist putting your heart on the bypass pump while doing something/being intoxicated on a given substance, than don't drive while doing that same thing.
 
Whoa... I never realized how strongly some smokers feel about smoking while driving and being high while driving. I go on blunt rides all the time, as do a lot of people I'm familiar with. To me, road trips are synonymous with smoking weed in a car for extended periods of time. I've never been incapacitated from smoking weed the way other substances have had me...

It might sound cliche` and ignorant but I'm just willing to take that chance-- in my experience I've always felt I drive a bit more cautiously, a bit more slowly, and with a bit more awareness of the people I'm sharing the road with when I'm high, whereas I know and recognize when I'm drunk or on other drugs that I cannot safely drive myself anywhere. In other words, I really do feel like being high makes me a better, calmer driver, and with that in mind I view smoking a blunt/joint while driving as nothing more serious than smoking a cigarette while driving (from a safety viewpoint, the legal concerns are a whole other matter). That could just be rationalization but, for me and in my mind and experience, this holds absolutely true.
 
dude I just drove last night on MDMA and smoking like you either got it or you dont IMO.

although of I was taking like LSD or another visual psych id know when not to push my luck

I actually got really good at driving with my knees from always smoking in the car

Haha, yeah, ecstasy was the most extreme thing I've driven on and in retrospect it was a scary fucking experience. For some reason my buddy was stone cold sober and in the passenger seat to ensure that we made it safely, but I don't remember why he just wasn't in the driver's seat... knowing me I probably just wouldn't let him drive my car and he wanted to smoke some weed, which was the award waiting for us at the end of the mission.

Yeah, I haven't ever done that since, lol. I drive high almost every single day, though.
