Do you think people care if they see me smoking weed?

6 days a week I am at school/work all day, so the only place I can blaze up is in my car. I live in Phoenix AZ, and my work is downtown so it is busy EVERYWHERE and there are literally no places where people can't see you.

If I'm taking rips while I'm driving or am in a parking lot where people can see me blazing do you think they will call the cops? Do you think they even care? It's fucking annoying as hell on my lunch break and other breaks I just wanna blaze but after I take one hit I get too scared that people are looking.
 
Quite possibly. I know that many people would report drunk drivers. Can you not find a safe place to park and smoke?
 
^^No. Downtown phoenix is a huge city (underestimated if you ask me). And cannabis does not affect my driving, and I only drive one street down and then turn back around.
 
^^But there's like a million people on the sidewalks and tons of cars driving by. Damn it, I wish it wasn't this complicated. Alot of my stoner friends juts smoke up wherever they are and don't care, but I'm too fucking scared to do that :(
 
at HCandKROD^^^Yeah, but i enjoy work and school more if I am. I was just wondering if other people would think "oh he's only smoking weed, whatever" or if people call the cops and shit.
 
i live in washington, and since highschool it was never really too sketch to smoke and drive or toke in the parkinglot before the football game.
ive noticed in my small time as an adult, that people sit in their cars all the time, and you cant call the cops everytime you see someone chillin in their car.

but i dont know what the vibe is down there, its way too chill up here haha

edit: to solve the "while-driving" problem, roll doobies with crutches, looks enough like a cigerette from a moving car.
 
If you're "taking rips whilst driving" then that's fucking stupid, no two ways about it.

One you're not using both hands to drive
Two, you aren't fully paying attention to the road
Three, holding your breath whilst driving - nice way to get dizzy.

You don't need that weed for school or work, and generally they aren't things you should be doing for the enjoyment. The bud is probably making your worse at these things and if you get found out, school and work will probably be no longer. Also, no job would probably end up with you not able to afford the car or weed.

Think about it hard, is it really worth spending that much effort not to get caught and still having a big risk of that, or running someone over cause you were toking.
 
^^Oh trust me, AZ (as far as cannabis is concerned) is NOTHING Like washington or oregon. Get caught with less than a gram you're fucked my friend (yes, even for your first time.)
 
If people would remember and follow the golden rule of not smoking in their car and not driving stone then the number of people getting caught would probably fall dramatically. Having weed in the car and/or smoking in your car is probably the number one way to get caught. Just don't do it!

Plus it puts other people at risk. And if fellow stoners would call the cops on you you can be damned sure everyone else will, too.

Paraphernalia, possession and smoking in a school zone. I guess op thinks being high at school is worth risking 8+ months in prison.

I personally wouldn't care, but there's always going to be people out there who will care.

I don't know the window tinting laws in Arizona, but if you could invest in some tints they work wonders. In my state we're allowed to have whatever you want on the rear windshield, and the back passenger doors. You're still allowed to tint your driver side and passenger windows, but it has to be a certain percent. I've got 15% on my driver side and passenger side and 10% on everything else. 15% is illegal in my state and 35% is the lowest you're supposed to go, but I've never been stopped for tints and when I have been stopped for something else it's never been an issue. only time you're asking to get fucked (at least around here) is when you're completely blacked out with 5% or mirrored / limo tints. Most states it's not even a ticketing offense, you just have to remove it and then prove you've removed it by a certain date. It's really just to put the cop at ease when they approach your vehicle, which I don't blame them. Lots of sketchy people and shit happening in todays world.

Then there's no need to drive while you smoke, because the only people who will be able to see you are the ones who get close enough to put their face against the glass. You'd notice them approaching LONG before they noticed you. Just try to find a spot where your windshield is faced against a wall or something, and you'd be set.
