lolol Man the "Sorry, Aunt Flo is in town" thing sucks so hard. That's one reason I like birth control. You can control the time you get your period, so if you have a date or whatever, you just leave it in (well..I used to have the patch and now the ring) for a couple days extra or take it out early to get it earlier. You're not supposed to do it, but I've done it for yeeeearrrrrssss.

I have to get blood work before they put me on it.... something runs on my moms side that they have a protein s deficiency and something else... think its s.... anyways I could get blood clots bad if I have the same problem, ugh. I want to get on the pill though, but I guess if I can't then I can't.

Planned parenthood and my docotors said its because of the protein c and s deficiencies. I just got my lab order to see and yup its those. I'm also being tested for the factor v (what you mentioned), antiphodpholipid panel, cbc with diff and antithrombin III... well that's abbreviations for some and its not for mt birth control only. Started getting blotches of red dots om my skin that looked like bruises but werent and they disappeared quick. Forgot what its called but has to do with your blood.... so now my doctor put no asprin on my chart or I can have a stomach bleed possibly...
 
Petechiae/purpura is what the blotches are called and usually have to do with a Coagulopathy be it either acute from a toxin or infectious agent (yay ebola?) or long term like a genetic thingy like you are talking about. Or else, thrombocytopenia which is low number of platelets and similarly can be acute or genetic/chronic. The antiphospholipid panel is testing for thrombocytopenia arising from a genetic cause.

I hope everything is ok (despite our trolling of each other) and that your test results come back without anything too serious. :)

Yeah petechiae is what it is and my mom had it.... kind of worried now... especially when the doctor asked my mother if she ever got tested for leukimeia and all these things but she told them no. She didn't want to know... But anyways thanks Rangrz even though I do tend to troll the shit out of you at times... but yeah I hope everything is okay too.

It's actually quite annoying. Most girls complain about guys who don't last long enough, but in my case I could pop a few viagra's and keep going as long as I wanted too, and girls are unhappy about that. They take it as a massive personal insult, go on about how unattractive and shit it makes them feel, I try to explain that it's nothing to do with them but it doesn't work.
 
Same here but I'm female.
a few guys have gotten 'performance anxiety' over it and things pretty much go down hill from there for the most part.
