serotonin- you're talking about measuring tape or pinchers? measuring tape approaches are junk (even pinchers should have at least 5 points pinched for a decent test iirc)

all I got is a tape. don't have the money to buy calipers. don't know how to ask my doc to do it either. :/

New running friend. She does 40 miles on the treadmill weekly. This was her 4th trail run. 7 miles in the snow. I have converted another person to trail. All part of my evil plan to build an army of running partners.

That's awesome! My mom's been trying to get me to run with her ever since she started doing marathons a few years ago, I tried it out a few times and it was just horrible because she forces me to finish with her and by that time I'm almost dying, ha. One of the perks of not living at home anymore is being free from the psycho marathon training =D

Pagey, I am not a marathon girl. I'd go easy on you. There is no shame in walking up a mountain trail.

between 6.5km of walking, 1.5 hours of yoga, daily... i just need to eat right... but I have been doing much better after the christmas month long binge on crap foods.
mainly going to eat vegetarian, but I will probably eat salmon or steak occasionally.
 
I am diggin the paleo lifestyle. Check that out.

keto and paleo are both interesting. raw vegan is basically paleo minus meat&cooking.

weekday diet:
breakfast: almond milk and holycrap or bran flakes
snack: almonds
lunch: pb&j on rye
snack: apple
dinner: salad, pita, hummus, veggies
snack: yogurt
 
I lost 5 lbs in 30 days and I enjoy cooking.

i do too. i don't have much time for it. on the weekends I make nice sandwiches, brunches, and stuff.

I cant eat dairy (yogurt and goat cheese are ok in moderation), and meat hasn't been fun to digest lately after avoiding it for a long time.

i don't know how much I weight. still haven't been on a scale in years.
 
No time why? Healthy eating takes planning for sure. I plan 7 days worth of food every week and figure out when and who takes care of cooking. Weekends I usually make a couple things that will last for lunches/dinners til Tuesday. My husband cooks Mondays and if he gets home earlier than I do.

I LOVE dairy. Never had a digestive problem but now I see it was weighing me down like the grains/legumes were.

All proteins or just red meat? Red meat takes longer to digest....period. It rarely makes me feel good which is why I eat is sparingly.
