I am educated from years of study, however I am also very aware of the dangers of mishandling this type of chemical 25c-Nbome is something I am currently experimenting with , active a .1 of a mg

I have found for me that making up a nasal spray with 5ml mix of strong spirit 3ml and 2ml sanitized water mix used in salt based nasal clean solution and adding 5mg of 25c-nbome gives me roughly 35 doses of .14mg of 25c-nbome quickly absorbed through the nasal passages. This allowed me not to overdose and manage each dose until I reached a comfortable dose for me its about .5mg of 25c-nbome.

I find nasal sprays most efficient with these active at low dose chems.

To use this type of chemical accurate scales are very important so if you don't have accurate scales don't even bother trying the above.
 
the first time I found out about it was after a bought some "acid" my DD kept telling me there was N bomb in it I thought he was just trying to talk up his shit until I googled it and read about it on erowid
 
Heard about them through Bluelight PD. I was always pretty curious but never thought I would run across them. Lots of people in my area have been trying 25I out a lot recently and it didn't occur to me that I had already read about it and had some interest.
 
From a friend who described them to another friend as "acid, ecstasy, and shrooms combined" and referenced it as "25I" without the NBOMe... it stirred a half-heard memory and I looked them up again. I don't know the guy very well and hope he doesn't OD and die or fuck himself up.
 
This compound is amazing... Also very dangerous. I don't think I will ever share anything unless I purchase properly laid ion exchange paper. Personally I believe this compound is crap unless insuffilated, but I have had the worst experiences insufflating RC's due to over excessive salt burning my nose. Anyways now how I heard about it.

Searching around RC vendor boards and seeing it being discussed. Definitively not happy with the availability of it and the people trying to make a quick buck with it. It is a VERY risky compound not only in potency, but just the toxic feeling of it. Plus 25i hits the opiate receptors so there must be some slight addiction risk... Although probably nothing like morphine.
 
I don't believe there is any evidence that they hit opiate receptors, is there? I've never even heard speculation?

I think 25I is pretty dissociative but outside of that it's pretty normal.
 
I discovered the big and dandy 25C thread which promised my skin would feel like lightning.

Upon experimentation I found this to be totally true, and in addition, made me feel like a whole body orgasm. Plus visuals. With a clear head. I dont think heaven can be any better than this. I hear there are other flavours too. Lovely. Make them into a nasal spray for safe dosing. Then go spray everyone you love. Easy X
 
Read about Nbome for the first time on a Swedish drug forum. I've tried 25i/25b and i enjoyed them very very much, felt like it would be impossible to get a bad trip.
 
Wikipedia. Then tried the I and the C from a friend source almost 2 years later.
Then the asshole started pushing it as acid, sometimes in powder form anyways.
Then someone I knew combined it with 2c-e and blacked out, destroying things.
 
I read about this onloine, saw no danger implications took 4x600ug blotter tabs and had an amazing time... In what way are we calling NBOMe dangerous? AMT is dangerous because its an MAOI and can lead to serotonergic toxicity in overdoses, where exactly are these sources claiming the danger of NBOMe and are they actually just people with little psychedelic messing around with drugs that are EXTREMELY potent psychedelics? not trying to troll or anything, would just like to see sources as all...

i specifically had 25C-NBOMe
 
I think you're right, the real risk with NBOMes is that they are very potent and many people do not have the knowledge or equipment to handle them safely.
 
NBOMEs fucked me up good, except it was my own fault for trying to get a ++++ happening on my third trip. :/

As long as dealers aren't lying about what they're selling... I think many people would look at the 25x rc's as awesome!
 
I'd like people here who learned how to handle these compounds the hard way to do me a favor:

Please share with all of us what made you realize the difference between putting your life in harms way and making sure you yourself and others will not be dosed unintentionally or overdose inadvertently.

What would be the first thing you would warn your noob old self against?

Imagine that while we make more commotion about these compounds (even the warnings) it will also introduce new folks to them. Are you thinking "if that were me and I would see Feature X here at PD, quite possibly it would avoid a lot of harm" ? What can that improvement be? I am not only talking pieces of advice, I am talking ways to bring attention to that advice, the right place at the right time.
If we are going to hold only our personal selves responsible for dealing with all of this properly, let us help each other do the best we can. We almost certainly aren't going to prevent all deaths, despite our best efforts major pharmaceutical and illicit drugs still go on killing people as well so NBOMe's are not terribly special. However if we are going to be the ones to introduce people to the existence of these compounds, we should not stand idly by.


Let's start easy: can you give feedback on what is in the OP of this thread? Would it help to put it at the top of every page of this thread? Should it be shorter? Should it be written in more plain English? Should it be more elaborate, less elaborate? What about 2 or 3 sections like [critical things to know before you ever touch an NBOMe], [important things to know before you touch an NBOMe] and [handy things to know...] ?

Well I'd go ahead and warn my noob old self not to think that pushing the dose range higher was a good idea. I had been considering taking 2.2mg of 25C-NBOMe buccally, after having been told by my friends that the 1.2mg and 1mg hits I had were not going to be even remotely close to the intensity I was looking for and they'd recommend double, and had taken such doses with no problem.

In the end I took caution and decided it was best to go with 1.2mg, and I'm glad I did, as I measured my blood pressure on the come up and it was elevated higher than any stimulant drug (even during binges) has elevated it ever before. I think had I taken 2.2mg I would have been real danger of hospitalization or worse.

The vasoconstriction and resultant high BP with these is significant, and as such, people shouldn't be pushing these high doses.

Another thing I'd mention is for people to remember to look at the ratios of their dose increases. I have no idea what in my mind drove me to think a suitable jump from 1.2mg would be to 2.2mg, that's nearly double the dosage! That'd be like jumping straight from 20mg 2C-E to 40mg, not something anyone sane would do. If you find a dose is not suitably intense, increase in 0.1 or 0.2mg increments - or less if you're using any ROA other than buccal/sublingual.
 
I am going to take 25i in the very near future and decided to just get tabs instead of the freebase form thanks to places like this so I think its better to give all the information and warnings out and if people dont follow them then its their own fault.
 
^ I definitely wouldn't recommend going for a ++++ with the NBOMes. Certainly wouldn't work for me. A solid +++ is as far as I can go without the bodyload becoming unbearable, and I feel that trying to use NBOMes for full ego dissolution would become physically dangerous.
