Morning Marmalata. You shouldn't hold back, it's when we go a bit nutty that EADD gets interesting

Values eh, whut's all them fings abart then? let's keep fings real, and simple eh?
The guy that took those photographs must have been some kind of sociopath

They're a set of moral guidelines that stem from the right choices we have made as society or individuals. I dont think we need a set of rules written or unwritten. We each have a conscience and know instinctively the right or wrong thing to do in any given situation. The choices we make build not only the person but also the society we live in.
The guy that took those photographs must have been some kind of sociopath, he has completely humiliated the Duchess of Cambridge..She must be mortified. Worse still are the publishers and editors of Closer magazine making thier euros on the back of this sad and insulting invasion of the womans privacy.
Popular Western magazines are bringing out special editions so we can see Kate Middletons tits from a blurred picture taken a mile away.
This gives me just a little more understanding the next time Al Queda bomb the shit out of something in disgust at western decadence.
THIS!!! said the exact same (Well more along the lines of' this is the end of western civilization as we know it, and you wonder why Al queda do what they do)
Er, I'd just like to reiterate what my point was about the pictures of Kate Middleton. I don't give a toss for the Royals or how it affects them. I just think people (and BCF seemed to understand) should think for a second about exactly what the following sentence says about our (western) society.
Certain popular magazines are bringing out a special edition exclusively for us to look at Kate Middleton's nipples as seen through a blurry long lens from a mile away
And if Dans right, that this is because it is what we allegedly want, then that makes it probably the most damning statement on western values I think I can ever recall.
Or maybe just an opportunist looking to earna crust, perhaps?
Not saying it's 'morally' laudible by any means, but to call him a sociopath is pretty excessive, to put it mildly.
Best coffee shop I've been to was this Rastafarian-themed one on a canal, can't remember the name of it, but they had all rasta flags outside and most of the customers were speaking dutch
Edit: wait I might have photos of it, will look to see if I can identify the name
^^ I read both yours and BCF's comments yesterday and had mental's with em ... and then watched the continuing dramasaga of PTCH's indignation at the double standards of the press and lawled.
Values eh, whut's all them fings abart then? let's keep fings real, and simple eh?
(still suffering from PMT so not posting much to avoid making crotchety posts .. urgh day 32)
It would be opportunistic to nick an old ladies handbag too wouldnt it?

She openly embraces the same celebrity culture that she's fallen foul of on this occasion. This culture involves invasion of privacy as routine. You reap what you sow.
I'm not saying it's right; far from it. Just like SHM says, the whole affair reflects badly on western values.
They're a set of moral guidelines that stem from the right choices we have made as society or individuals. I dont think we need a set of rules written or unwritten. g
What makes you conclude this?I dont think our society endorses that kind of invasion of privacy.
I wouldn't say kate middleton courts or uses the press.

Why do people buy celebrity mags by the dozen if there isn't a demand for this kind of thing? That's 'our society', and clearly it endorses such invasions of privacy.
Exactly true. Sadly enough there is a massive demand for this sort of thing.
She was outside. Fair enough she was in a private garden, but she was not "in the privacy of her own home". She was in France, in a garden, with her tits out, near a road (apparently, I don't know how true the 'near a road' bit is).
Has anyone ever seen any dodgy photos of the queen? Have they fuck. Ironically enough, the queen seems to have some common sense.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a good thing that these photographers do shit like that, but I'm well aware that they do. If you are that much in the spotlight you should be hyper-aware of this sort of thing.
To be fair though, she should have just done a Harry & basically said "& what?" then let everyone forget about it. It's not like it tarnishes her reputation in any way at all, she's just a young girl on holiday trying to get a tan.
