I've strangely found cigarette smoke to smell really good since I quit using an e cig. Idk if that'd make me more triggered to smoke b/c i usually have nicotine saturating myself throughout the day more or less
Your really expecting to be all better after a month? you've been inhaling bullshit for 9 years daily my friend. It's gonna take a long ass time to fix that.
It takes a really long time until your lungs are completely free BUT, just as with most diseases problems etc. the "curing curve" is not linear, instead in the first few weeks the healing goes fast and then it slows and slows down until you are healthy (unless of course you caused yourself some serious lung disease which may last your whole life aka Hi there, Im cancer). I can give you example numbers from myself as I used to be a smoker too:
I smoked from when I was 14 to my 21st birthday, so about 6.5 years. Now I havent smoked for more than 2 years. It took about 12-15 months until I stopped coughing altogether, but I would say after first 3 months about 70% of the shit was gone. The remaining 30% just takes much longer but by that time you already feel very good.
