They did up until I was old enough & capable of supporting & providing for myself. I think they felt if they fully supported me beyond that it might make me into a spoilt selfish entitled lazy brat.

I'll stop taking it out on you when you stop pontificating on what an amazing traveller you are and how people should just stop making excuses, say FUCK WORK and just DO IT. I just read you say that in the travel thread and pissed my pants. You're more dependant on them than a toddler.

This is how we fixed everything in my old flat. That and electrical tape.

Fucking lonnnnnng weekend. Mentally worn out and me body ain't far behind. Done about all the writing and revision I can face today, gonna be a long fucking two weeks with exams and two essays still due. Can't wait til it's over.

I've just been gardening and have come in looking like I've been self harming. I've got some serious criss cross red lines right up the insides of both arms. Not a great look.

If it can't be fixed with a damn good thump or a squirt of WD40 (or both, in extreme cases) it's not broken.

Perhaps you could try squirting some into your ear and report on the effect it has on your studies? Good luck btw.
 
Bloody hoorendous there for the Mrs Mops.8o Bet the boys had a sooper time though. Its good to give them happy family memories. :). Is it a popular park? I live really close to legoland but have only been a couple of times. The monsterous queues really put me off.

Naw, Mr and Mrs 2.4 children and 4 by 4 motor have got enough on their plate inching forward slowly in searing heat or piddling rain to do the obligatory school holiday theme park trip... Also I dont fancy getting sectioned. (Mind you at least i'd get a bit of decent valium :) )

Just watched the Cabin in the Woods, cracking horror think it was by the same people who did Doll House and Buffy.

Are you persisting with NA by the way? I saw their little blue book earlier today and wondered how you were getting along with it.

EDIT: Kate, I saw that at the cinema, can't recall masses apart from the bare bones of the story and feeling like it was 75% great but that for some reason I really stopped liking it before it was over.

Jan: I'm not doing great with NA. I havnt really been concentrating on the steps and have missed several meetings. (You're supposed to go to a few a week to begin with). I'm ruminating about NA's whole philosophy at the moment tbh and have pretty much decided its probably not for me. I'm not going to speak negatively about the society though I really think it works for a lot of people and has probably saved millions of lives.

Anyone else tried N.A or A.A?
