no i didnt..dude called me a few times asking who i was cause the nunber was in his phone and i reminded him and he told me !%) for a gram and i thought it was a little on the pricy side considering i dont know how good the "raw" is. so i told him i got his number savef and when i get a chance id hit him up. now this guy aint talking about 10-20bux which is nothing, but when you start getting over a note, well thats differnt, and the guy whos willing to serve you a dub allday long with no problem might get an idea to just rob you instead and ive never called the lady either..i just nevergot around to it and im not desperate for a new connect..its hard to go to someone new and who you dont fully know if you can trust them yet. when i first me them i heard him tell her to "hurry up, iu wanna go ge some rocks" and i was like oh really , what about blows and they both were like yeah i can ge that. well by teh way he said it, it almost sounde like he uses it and she damn sure looked like a rock head. so if he ois a crack head, he might not be happy just making a dub or whatever, he might want it all..the lady on the other hand i wouldnt be worried aobut her ding it but he was young enough to where it ccrossed my mind..so ii dont know how they conduct business, theres no way im drivin around austin and maybe have to go to a certain block to cop from him..its so much better being able to meet my dude in ukrainian village or callin my other dude and meeting out here in the burbs, a place i feel safe, and people i trust and was

I can honestly say I haven't been blown away by chi dope yet and I've gone to at least three different corners but it is decent enough to go back for. In my ten years I've had big habits and small but twenty dollars of really good dope in one shot should be enough to get you by for a few hours if you gotta do $40 or more in a fix it's garbage and so far most of the places I go I can feel pretty good fixing a couple sawbucks at a time so that's fine w/ me.lbcfourthstreet

Chinky I fully agree w/ you about your comment about big bags. I used to get these tiny little sawbucks in Michigan like a lottery ticket folded w/ just a tiny bit of grey powder but two or three would really get you nodding and the dubs from the corner when I first got out here looked huge but it's probably mostly cut so I guess you're right about that!!i got ripped off one time when i asked fori think it was 5bags and was like" can i get 6 for 5?"and the guy comes back and is like"these are normally dubs but imma hook you up cause this all i got left on me" and i was stoked andf then as im driving away i look at the foils inside the stapled bagsand they looked small and sure enough they were just empty, he wrapped up foil inside of foil but it was obvious the guy was out to scam people cause he went threw alot of work to make them look legit with a staple and everything..the guy was in a car too so he was able to just dip off and not be still sittin on block waiting for me or someone else to come back ..so from that time on whenever i was told all they had was dubs, i would tell them that "nevermind, ill go to somewhere else, thanks though" and every single time they said "ok ill hook you up with sawbucks" and when i goit home they where just normal sized and i was able to tell that the guy was just trying to scam me for extra money but that was thje last time i got sold empty bags or got beat cause i got a number not to long after that
try it though nex time they offer you dubs cause im willing to bet they want your money and dont want to see you drive away..a real hustker at least wont let you drive away...i just think when they see a white person they figure they got money to afford paying dubs but comeone what real junky is gonna spend a dub for one bag? no one..

Your absolutely right everytime they say they only got the dubs I tell them to forget it and then they always say ok ill sell you the 10s,the spot I go to rarely they know my face and never try any shit and I get 12 for the jabyeah man, they just see the white skin and figure this sububan kid can afford it and that you wont go to another place once your there talkin to them, thats why when you say that, they switch up their prices and if they dont then who cares you go down a block or 2 and get something else..
when i copped on the street. my tolerance wasnt that high and spending half a jab would get me high twice..to me when they hear jab, youre just setting yourself up to get beat, you got to really trust them and know they on nothing but business..knowing they gonna make alot more money treating you right them being shady..

Because I actually do go to a spot where it's sawbucks and dubs and they come in different bags and the dubs are way bigger but at another spot I know for fact is sawbucks I got tricked once until I learned to order that way.That happened to me in chi, I think it happens to all whites in the hood. I asked a dude for a bag, he charged
Me for a dub, but I saw who he got it from. I went up to dude and said he charged me for a dub. The dealer gave me his number and a free bag to make up for it and I was good after that calling him. In Detroit it's all Nickle bags and it's greatLast edited by a moderator:so i was supposed to be having a drop tomorrow but i only had 3-4days clean which i figured was enough but i only had 14days clan of weed and that stressed me a little bit and i figured my PO is cool and im sure he would push it back..so i called yesterday witha story about how im trying to get fulltime work with my brothers employer and he called seeing if i can do some work in rockford..well i call like 3-4 times and he wasnt there so i left 2 messages..one sayin im callin for permission and then the second one saying that ive been trying to get fulltime work and by saying no i really cant afford to pass it up..then i called again this morning and nothing and left him a message saying i had to take this job for the money and for the long run..i called one more time and finally he picked up and il like did you ge my messages and hes like no...so i explain to him what happened and hes like "well youre supposed to drop, thats kinda suspicious" and im like im just asking to push it back 2days, you know ive neer failed a drop and ive never not shown up, i tried callin you firs thing monday when i was asked to make sure it was ok, but when i didnt hear back i just had to say yes or no and i took the job..and hes like well im not in on fridays and im like im not worried about the drop i just need the work cause im tryin to et fulltime and hes like "ok ok, just come in same time next week"..
even though i was 3-4days clean with dope i was worried about weed and by getting another week extension, im gonna be fine. i got lucky thoiught and made up my mind last night that i wasnt gonna go in and got high, so if he would of said no thats not ok i would have been fucked but now imma get high tomorrow and then take a good week off just to make sure cause this is the last drop i got to take and im not trying to risk failing.
im gonna order some spice tonite cause i really drove myself crazy this past weekend with nothing to do except drink some beers, not using dope is ok when i have some weed and subs and sicne i cant smoke weed, i need to get some spice just to keep my mind off shitdubs are just another rip-off to unknowing customers. i dont think i ever bought a 20 bag and i have probably bought fuck upwards of 10's of thousands of 10 bags. i used to be in love with a couple nickle spots though.

Ah delivery what a luxury reminds me of back home. It's so funny they used to have the same guys drivin for years who were mostly bangers and cholos but they musta cost too much because they finally hired a couple of the clients and one of them was my good homey and I remember the first time he came in the car and I'm all wtf?! Haha but then it was sick because I could bypass the operator and see if he was workin and shut and obviously he'd bump me up on the list of stops. Ugh out here im risking it all on the stupid WS!!!

What's up everyone, I'm posting for the very first time so I figure I'd make it worth my while. To the dubs conversation, being from the southwest, I deal with tar and the mexicans got their business totally legit. Depending on the operator/driver will dictate what you are working with. I always dealt with sawbucks and jabs and when a friend told me a new operator had dubs I was a tad skeptical. sure enough tho, they were nice sized dubs and you got great breaks. Out there, when you dealt with op/drivers, the shit was the same no matter WHO you got it from, so quality was the same but you would get lucky with how much they dropped. Those guys are all about money, they are more scared of you then your are of them, but when you are dealing with the folks out here, there are two types of guys- the ones that are all about business, and the others that act like it but are just scamming the white guys. Its like at a glance they see a sign that says, "white guy, easy to hustle, first one to the car wins!!" The first time i was out here rolling through ktown i came across 5 guys asking if i wanted sawbucks so I said sure. i didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket, i said I wanted 4. being white and out of state and certainly coming across as not comfortable since i wasnt, he tells me he needs the skrill up front and i say not a chance, go get it and bring it back.. he says ok and to pull over there (points to a spot) he comes back and like chefdude mentioned about having his window not completely down, i had done the same. turns out it was down enough to put your whole head and one arm in- he had something in his hand and is asking for the payment. as i am handed it to him he throws it in my car which ended up being 4 tore up pieces of styrofoam plates and right then and there i knew it wasn't shit. i yanked on his arm and was able to grab around his neck and said to drop the money or were going for a ride. we were about 50 feet away from his boys but it was still stupid to do. with no response i punched it (already being in drive) about 15 feet and since he was dragging along he throws the cash and i let him go and floor it out of there... of course then i went three blocks down and another 4 and found some legit guys. they were older and more about the business.. and i think that's what i took away from this whole ordeal. don't go to the young kids. they are just trying to hustle any way they can. but what a terrible first time experience and i'm lucky to get out of there with my life cuz i swore i heard "pop pop pop!!" lol ok maybe not...
but before the lecture start, i get it guys, way stupid for me to do that but i am pretty hard headed at times and wasn't letting my first time in the books to go completely down in flames. nothing pisses me off more than letting some black dude hustle me- so would i do that again and get physical?? hell no. i'm afraid to even drive my car in the area now. at the time it was my gut reaction and ultimately got lucky as hell. i just wanted to share my story cuz it's pretty damn interesting and it just goes to show, no matter who you are, to them, to those guys,you are just a number on the west side whether you get your bags or you get garbage in your hand..
and for the second part of my post is the comedy in what i'm reading!!! the story chinky told about his buddy who is on here too (can't remember his name) but i believe the words were "she said to stick it in her ass and then when he went to do so he saw a set of balls and a dick bigger than his" and i couldn't stop laughing.. the other funny one is with chef and how the dude was talking about cooking quiche on here and then said check his PMs.. so obvious. that's why i love this thread is that is all about everyone's stories and experiences and the reality of the chicago scene... not a place to get yours... it would be ridonkulous if you saw ever other post about sourcing. wouldn't be the same. not to mention you're pretty foolish to try and cop online when you have no clue who is on the other side of the keyboard..
so thanks for the good laughs and the information and i hope to contribute to the converstation. one thing i'll leave everyone to ponder- is it tougher or easier for the girls to cop?? i mean can't you see it both ways?? it would be super easy and maybe even you'll get some freebies but then it would be hard as well, ok maybe not hard, but certainly intimidating. but then again these guys aren't trying to pick up criminal charges, but you just never know. and it was only after i spent about 30 minutes creeping through ktown(like a fool) that i read about cameras on the blocks and how they can zoom in, how cops will stake out blocks away and just use their binocs to check out what's going on, the free bags in the mornings sometimes that draw hundreds of junkies, the jump out boys, and just all the shit about the fuzz i was pretty naive about. back where i'm from, you get a spot which is usually in an apartment complex and they are a dime a dozen out there. you're not lined up with any other persons and you park in a spot and since almost everyone has super dark tint, most of the time people don't even know you are in your car. i couldn't imagine an open air market back southwest. it wouldn't be what i would want. cops out there dont fuck around either but they are more interesting in the big time stuff coming over the border and not the hundred dollar bs... it's definitely nerve racking and from what i read you go to the same guy a couple times, get a number, and hopefully they drive out to meet you somewhere a little safer. that's the game plan at least..
any of you guys copping in the open air on a daily basis?? talk about a reason for a script for xanax.. i couldn't do that shit, too stressful and i don't know how much longer i can do it, which is why for now i get as much as i can when i go so i don't gopftem. but if you come up to a new spot and you ask for 3 jabs they think youre the fuzz, and then it adds to building up that good old tolerance so it's catch 22. and you guys can say it's no biggie after you do it for so long, but i tell you this- after having a 500 dollar a day habit to being clean for a year or two every now and again, when you're clear headed and off the junk, well.. well let's just say normal people wouldn't be found anywhere in that area mind you every single day or other day.
well hope you all didn't get bored and fall asleep or nod off, i just wanted to make that #1 post worth reading and i have read all the chitown posts (even the older ones that have closed) without commenting on one of them.. so i have lots to say lol.

I personally love it LBC. I don't like going to places where everyone else is too and creating all this traffic. This is still all so new to soak in. Plus it's so much easier to get hassled by the people your copping from and the fuzz. I was never able to get the driver's number in PHX and it reminds me of this one driver though- we were cool, he'd let me run up hundreds in credit since I saw him every day. For 5 years And one day I was going to meet up with him owing a couple bills and was not looking forward to convincing him to let me rack up another jab with nothing to give him, but there was a neew guy and the new driver said the old driver was in Cali. Then two weeks later the new driver- he ended up telling me he got arrested and in jail cuz his car broke down on the freeway and they found his merchandise. Lots of merchandise lost to the fuzz, he's better off deported or in jail cuz I'm sure his people want answers or his head and those Mexican Mafia folks don't play games. Some of those drivers will get deported on purpose if they are behind or can't pay up to their operator. They make some of these operations I've seen here in Chicago look like amateurs. Since AZ is so close to the border, the same guys pushing the stuff into the US are also running the games on those border states and killing it. It's a crazy operation but it's clean and they keep it that way for a reason. They are open everyday, including holidays, and on Christmas Santa give you oversized buy one get one free Jabs on top of the freebies.. Granted yes it's tar but I tell you what, tar doesn't mean bad quality. I personally think there is a stigma about white and tar and that china white is just so much better. Or maybe I was getting quality tar and mediocre white. As far as those Mexicans, I imagine they do the same thing up here but it's way smaller and it's harder to get in that circle..- Status
