i haven't seen it myself yet, only have his description. i wouldn't take it anyways unless i tested it (no kit available right now, but i look into buying one), and advise him against taking it. i'm just curious^^
why do americans even call it molly anyway?
we call it mandy and that sort of sounds like MD which we always say as short for MDMA, molly doesn't make sense to me.
Mandy Emay is her full name.
yes it looks different. bk-mdma is just basically white. Good MDMA is off white and has a brownish tint to it.
I too have seen a lot of methylone being sold as 'Molly' in the past year.. It is interesting considering methylone is illegal just like MDMA.. I speculate that there was surplus methylone which was produced while it was still legal and now the manufacturers are probably selling it very cheap through gang networks and drug cartels.... Ive seen a lot of this 'molly' being sold by dealers that normally only deal in things like coke..
^ Also depends on what was used to make it, MDMA made from safrole usually has a brownish/yellow tint to it.
I also have a pure white powder MDMA... EXTREMELY high quality, but shit almost looks like powdered sugar lol
There are four principal precursors which can be used in the manufacture of MDMA and related drugs: safrole, isosafrole, piperonal and 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl-2-propanone (PMK). Safrole is the key starting material in so far as the other three can be synthesised from it. In the original Merck patent of 1914, safrole was reacted with hydrobromic acid to form bromosafrole, which was converted to MDMA using methylamine. Many illicit syntheses start with PMK and use either the Leuckart route or various reductive aminations including the aluminium foil method. All of these methods produce racemic MDMA. The four precursors noted above are listed in Table I of the United Nations 1988 Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. The corresponding EU legislation is set out in Council Regulation (EEC) No 3677/90 (as later amended), which governs trade between the EU and third countries
Safrole is the key starting material in so far as the other three can be synthesised from it.
I saw that too, but none the less you can still make MDMA with just PMK and no safrole
No wonder you cant find anything using PMK... the real name is MDP2P
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDP2P
MDP2P is synthesized from safrole, but you can make MDMA from MDP2P without safrole... and it seems to me like it would be cleaner as well
/yougottabetrollingmeYes, you make MDP2P from safrole so you can make MDMA... but if you have MDP2P (PMK) already you can skip the extra steps of converting methylenedioxyphenyl-2-propene (safrole) into methylenedioxyphenyl-2-propanone (MDP2P)
Safrole is the key starting material in so far as the other three can be synthesised from it
you guys should look into using catechol as the main precursor.
Piperonal, a flowery scent, is prepared from the methylene diether of catechol followed by condensation with glyoxal and decarboxylation.
The catechol skeleton occurs in a variety of natural products such as urushiols, which are the skin-irritating poisons found in plants like poison ivy, and catecholamines, drugs imitating them (such as MDMA),
It is a common building block in organic synthesis.
Catechol is also a component of castoreum, a substance from castors, used in perfumery.
