bk-MDMA methylone being sold as "molly"

this must just be an american thing. I live in the UK and have never been sold anything other than MDMA. Is it harder to find pure MD in the US or something?
 
Lol talked to so many people with those "fire moon rocks bro" at the event in Vegas a couple weeks ago. And they would get all defensive when I asked to test it. Pretty sure it's not mdma if it takes you three fat capsules to feel something. They didn't even look like they were rolling and had no empathy. All the while I was floored on 100 mg of mda feeling like I was in a dream.

Yes, in most places (except for California, Chicago, and Wisconsin, for example) it is much harder to find quality MDMA in the states since the safrole ban went into effect.
 
the last few music festivals ive been to my crew was testing peoples shit the whole weekend. around 80% of the "molly" we tested was no good. the vast majority was methylone/butylone. a good bit was meth with just a touch of MDxx to try to fool the n00bs, and some was just bunk. the few rolls we tested had more MDxx by percentage but i didnt take any so i cant comment on the quality.

i have met people who are newer to ecstasy and cannot tell the difference between legit molly and methylone. maybe they have never had the real deal but i see neophytes falling for this stuff all the time. it bums me out because a good, clean MDMA experience is amazing and beautiful and cannot be replaced by RCs. i dont know about everyone else, but methylone just doesnt do it for me. i feel kinda good for about an hour then i start coming down and the comedown/hangover is twice as bad as the real deal. with legit MDMA/MDA its overwhelmingly euphoric--and the mood lift is off the charts compared to BK.

it is probably much more dangerous because kids most likely chase the MDMA high when they dont even have MDMA, taking way more than they would if they had the real deal. just getting cracked out, not having a beautiful empathic ecstasy experience. its sad.

MDMA is CERTAINLY still around. lately ive found more MDA than ever, which is awesome for me because i prefer it to MDMA. if you have done enough, you can kind of tell the difference between MDMA/MDA crystal to methylone/butylone. MDxx has a very sparkly shimmer thats hard to fake, almost like good coke. most BK is powdery although it can be rocked up. when it is in rocks, it isnt as translucent as MDMA, it has a cloud appearance. if you taste it IMO it has that bitter, chemical taste but its not nearly as bad as the legit stuff. for what its worth i think the brown/purple gooey "sass" that goes around is shitty-synthed MDMA/MDA. chemists have said that a poorly synthesized MDMA/MDA batch can turn out like that if it isnt cleaned up. in my experience most of that stuff is the real deal but it isnt very strong.

obviously the best way to judge it is with a test kit. i hope this garbage stops circulating as ecstasy but the demand is so high i dont see it happening, and now with the younger users not knowing the difference i dont see it going away any time soon. i just hope chemists keep on cranking out the real MDMA/MDA. i am not the biggest ecstasy user these days, but when i do it i dont wanna be bummed out by some sub-par methylone garbage.

i have actually never tried the APB's id certainly like to though. my friends who have done it loved it and it seems like it will give the user a more pronounced reaction than BK.

i think now with the mainstreaming of "molly" especially now that rappers are into it, it probably benefits the dealers to have dumb kids keep coming back trying to chase an ecstasy high instead of buying one and having a single good, fun experience with an APB.
 
Interesting.. Why do you say Wisconsin? I live here and the shit going around is mostly bunk. People around here don't even know what legit shit is 99% of the time.
 
I would say a decent amount could be sold as methylone.
The highs aren't really that different and the less euphoric high could easily be blamed on impure m or just a shitty roll.
Plus lots of m I had looks VERY similar to methylone

Hmmm if you are referring to batches that look a little " wet " and smell like black licorice I would severely disagree with the above statement. I just received some MDA from Holland that was brown/purple and a little wet looking, it was fucking incredible. New years on Lot in Colorado I saw some also that EOTO / cheese groupies had that fit this exact description and it was recognized as some of the best.
 
It really really really has gotten as bad as i ever thought it would go... I'm like you OP, i never ever use the word "molly" anymore because that word know disgusts me... I call it by the molecule that it is, MDMA....

I attend quite a few music festivals and electronic/jam band events and the campout music festivals have been looking up in my opinion as far as the fake molly drug dealers being snuffed out.... A-lot of the older crowds are being informed and are informing themselves as far as what to look for as far as bath salts and methylone/butylone, dxm, etc....

I think i saw over 10 people walking around with test kit sale signs and i saw quite a few volunteers of the bunk police with big signs informing the general population. I think i only ran across one person that turned down a testing of their illicit "molly" sale to me at the last campout festival i attended... All the people that let me test their product were confident in it, and as was i after i had seen the result...

It's really a topic that gets under my skin when people don't care or are ignorant when it comes to this topic, ive seen people carried away on stretchers, and people freak out and die or either kill themselves first hand.

I don't think you can deny this... MDMA is a clear crystal in it's purest forms. Any other colors indicate an impurity, even if it's only percentage or two. "Wet" MDxx would have water weight as well, making it less potent. I believe that what you took was of a great quality, but if you or the chemist who made it took the extra time to clean it up further who knows how much better it could have been?

I see what your saying and trust your judgement, the local Hippie girls here have a saying they will not eat 'Molly' Unless it is sunshine yellow or amber red, or in rare cases foggy purple. This could just be one of the best ways to make sure you are not getting BK if you dont have a test kit on you.

I would like some others opinions on this, first off my MDA I saw it broken off a 1/4 ounce rock that was see through amber, it wasn't 'wet' but when broken down in baggies it looked a little moist, I have seen this before and always the most powerful experience.

I have only had clear MDMA one time that was legit, it had like little purple dots in it. Then I had some other clear about a year ago and it sucked, tested fizzled black poor experience.

Is it really true that Amber shard isn't the best? I have always gone by this, I figured it was the color of the safrole that did this.

so very recently I have seen something new: rocks that are a 1:2 cut of MDMA and BK-MDMA... but they are crystal rocks.. with marquis they flash bright yellow then go slowly to black over 20 seconds... the rocks have a pinkish tint to them... has anyone else seen this?

I very rarely choose to eat MDMA these days. But, my favorite MDMA ever was clear pink hued crystals. They were large chunks of crystal at the time and originated in the north west.Tested clean (reagent and gc/ms) and was a favorite of mine for a long time some years ago. I still see MDMA occasionally through friends who use it and i have seen it in more recent years (last year once). Sucks those didn't test clean. Do you have a picture of it? I am really curious to see, how the pink hued methylone, compares to the pink hued MDMA in looks.
I have not seen methylone in person. But, after reading your post I came across a picture of mixed hued methylone crystals that some had a pink hue. It was somewhat similar in color but, the MDMA was pretty clear vs. the methylone was pretty hazy and darker. maybe had more of an unnatural pink hue as well. .
