The Big & Dandy 5-IT / 5-API Thread

kingme - That was also my assumption that id be detained. Strangley enough they let me go and let me keep my digi scales that where umm.. coated in 'Various Substances'.

The Funny thing is that the officer was more intrested in the minute amout of black mamba (legal high) that i had :s i told him too sniff it and tell me it didnt smell of fish.
 
I managed to try 100mg orally of 5it and I can honestly say that it was one of the most impressive things I have ever taken.

What I felt:
- Massive feelings of empathy. You are loved up like crazy. This is a constant for at least 5 hours
- Anti Anxiety -- I am normally paranoid on things like mdma especially when it wears off. 5IT had the opposite effect. I was not paranoid or anxious at all. I walked through the roughest area of town without worry.
- Lasers and lights look incredible. This was at a rave with amazing lasers and it was really good.

Basically it was a long lasting empathogenic euphoria that didnt have the massive rushes of MDMA but was actually more pleasant. I found that if the euphoria was starting to wane you could kick it back in by adding a stimulant. First I drank a red bull and it kicked it back full on. Then I had a couple of dextroamphetamine pills and that made it into a full on MDMA type feeling, including rushes.

The only negative I felt was that it was hard to regulate your body temp with it and it makes you really thirsty. You need to regulate your water intake or you will end up drinking way to much. It also gives you the same 'hard to piss' reaction that MDMA can sometimes give you.
 
As far as AMT goes..I love the stuff. Great for going out mushroom hunting in the woods, then after a while searching for my free fryup dinner, just finding a nice quiet spot, and lying down.

Dosed around 250mg intranasally (of 5-IT, not AMT), along with a couple of benzo fury tablets, as I got a whole bunch of them free from one of my RC suppliers with my MXE orders in the past. The tablets are green, unmarked. Dosed two of them rectally.

Slight bruxism, not too much, not too annoying although I might munch on some chewing gum, or the big bag of cough candy I have.

Some shakyness of my hands, visually the room seems sort of bright and sparkly in a similar manner to the comeup of AMT.
Other drug intake recently-only some poppy pod tea the previous day. I'm opioid dependent, thanks to being a chronic pain patient. I don't have any of my oxycontin atm. I need to wait until tomorrow to see my doc and get a fresh script. Taken a couple of grams of pregabalin earlier, along with 60mg of baclofen, to ease the cramps in my calf muscle. 5-IT doesn't seem too adrenergic at this dose. I HATE adrenergic chemicals. I'm prescribed tizanidne actually (an alpha2 adrenoreceptor agonist similar to clonidine, although shorter acting) to ease a problem I have with hyperreflexixa, and sudden, uncontrollable movements of muscles, such as for instance, kicking things without the intention to do so. Bloody pain in the arse, and adrenergic compounds make it a whole load worse.

I can't give much more of a report on 5-IT yet, as I'm only 20 minutes or so into the experience.

I'm a smoker, and take a nicotine spray, both orally and transdermally. Concentration of the spray is 1mg/spray. My dose-varies, but typically 6-7-10mg per dose.

Overall, I like 5-IT so far. I feel nice and alert, ready to go into my lab and work on my AMPAkine project, and do a LAH reduction that I have been keeping on the back burner, as far as projects go. My AMPAkine project is the synthesis of DM-235/sunifiram (1-benzoyl-4-propionylpiperazine) from piperazine and benzoyl/propionyl chloride. I have a memory problem, a severe memory impairment, have problems encoding long term memories.

I usually take pramiracetam for that, although I got raided by the filth a while back, and they stole my pramiracetam. Fucking cock nibbling pig sisterfucking shitbags. Got most of my stuff back just recently, although I've yet to get back a few things-my pramiracetam, some 2,5-dimethoxy-4-methylbenzaldehyde, some AMT and 5-MeO-n,n-diallyltryptamine. along with my revolver, dart rifle, and .22 air pistol. Still waiting for those to be returned.
 
One and a half hours into the experience:

Blurred vision, I have trouble reading the clock on the computer. Vision is brighter than usual, color enhancement, sort of sparkrly effects. Feels like MDxx sans the cardiovascular push that comes with the methlenedioxyamphetamines/cathinones

I'm quite content just to sit here, reading a couple of autie forums, and a clan chem board, as well as BL, although I know I need to get off my arse and go to the lab. I fancy a cup of lemon balm tea first though. Tastes great, and has anticonvulsant properties due to the GABA-transaminase inhibiting compounds present in Melissa. Hopefully that will calm down my hyperreflexia, and stop my hands from being quite so shaky. Its annoying, as its interfering with my typing.

Edit-I'm now having real trouble reading, feel pretty good. Very relaxed, and totally content just to sit and (try to) read the autie forums I'm a member of. Think I'll plug another of those benzo-fury pills and make myelf a rollup.

This is quite unlike AMT. AMT has much more of a stimulant push to it, and is fully psychedelic.5-IT doesn't seem to be psychedelic, in the way that the tryptamines are, but it does make vision blurry and seems brighter than usual, a lot of color enhancement. I think I'll take a couple of grams of pregabalin, and a bit more baclofen. Perhaps a few milligrams of the pure nicotine I have. Its not the same as smoking, I imagine the beta-carbolines in cigarette smoke make all the difference, as far as rewarding/compulsive properties go.

Just got up to go get my trench and warm up, and found there is considerable ataxia. I need my cane to steady me. Unsteady on my feet, although the coordination required to practice with my nunchaku seems fine, I can swing, spin, catch etc. without any errors.

Feel better now I have my coat on. Need music playing, somehow, a quiet room really aggravates me, sensory-wise, at the moment, and I HAVE to have some sort of sound in the background, I.E heavy, dark metal, industrial stuff, Rammstein, is just perfect at the moment.
Just grabbed the first CD that came to hand-Rammstein-Sensucht. Just what I need. right now.

Going to plug one of those 6-APB pills, it feels good, but somehow, like a more immersive experience is just on the borderline of taking off, but has never quite got to that point.

Edit-Just taken a further 1.6g of lyrica, and about to take another 50-60mg of baclofen. Fucking cramps in my calf are REALLY pissing me off, it never damn stops, unless I take HEAVY doses of multiple muscle relaxants, or take tizanidine rectally, at doses that are pretty close to enough to knock me out cold.
 
3:10 into the experience, just plugged two 'benzo fury' branded 6-APB pills. Not sure of the dose per pill. Visually the pc screen appears to be vibrating from side to side. Feels a lot like the mid-stage of a high dose AMT comeup. But it cannot, at least at the dose I had available, match AMT. Although the feeling of contentment, and visual sparklyness is very, very much like what AMT does to me when I take it, and go out into the woods. 5-IT cannot compare to AMT, even with the 6-APB on top, but at the same time, there are a lot of similarities.

I end up just wanting to find a quiet clearing, and curl up at the base of a tree. AMT does that to me, I find myself just wanting to find somewhere quiet, to curl up around a tree and relax, or go to sleep.
 
250 mg intranasal 5-IT is already a huge dose.. Combined with two plugged 6-APB pills and 1.6 gr. of pregabalin sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Now that you mentioned it, yes I have had some pain over the last couple of days. Mostly at night when I am in bed and wake up.
 
Never tried 5-IT so can't say if it gives you liver pain or not. Probably would if you abused it. Just like anything else is not good for you if you abuse, especially drugs. I've got most of my liver pain from a prior OD I had with MDPV and MDMA.

If you've not tried this before, then 125mg could be too much. It really depends how you react to substances like this, if you need a lot of MDMA to get where you want to be for example then sure 125mg would probably be fine. But if like me too much MDMA turns me into a gurning wreck then you may want to be careful. I dosed around 75mg or so of 5-IT my first time and it was great but I did experience significant bruxism in the later stages and couldn't sleep a wink. Since then I have found my sweet spot to be around 60mg with perhaps a top up dose later on.

As to letting serotonin levels get back to normal, well I would say 5-IT is less of a serotonin releaser than MDMA, and certainly things like MDAI. It has more of a dopamine push IME. I went through a period of doing 5-IT 4 weekends in a row, and I noticed no depression or things like that. But I did wonder to my self what was I trying to achieve in doing so. My girlfriend certainly wasn't happy anyway! So I haven't done it much since.
 
I tried this the other night. Bombed 100mg from a reputable supplier followed by about another 20mg. To be honest I wasn't that impressed. Apart from an increase in heart rate and sky high temperature I just spent the night chewing my face off with no real euphoria or sense of well being. On a positive there was zero comedown. But I put that down to the fact the chemical failed to release the happiness stored in my brain!

If we're to speculate based on what we know, 5-APDB is almost purely serotonin with little dopamine release, and 5-APB seems to behave similarly, I'd imagine 5-API leans this way too. Drugs that seem to be mostly serotonin seem to be less neurotoxic, so you can be a bit more lenient with how often you take them.

That said I don't think a week would be anywhere near enough in the long run, since serotonin downregulation and damage done quickly compound over time. You might be okay with say 3 weeks vs the usual "one month rule" that you'd apply to MDMA/6-APB etc, but until we know monoamine release values for 5-API I personally wouldn't want to risk spacing out doses by any less than a month, since by the time you've done damage with these MDxx like empathogens, at the very least you have an extremely long recovery time, and at worst some people never seem to fully recover.
 
Sorry to go off topic, but has anyone heard from limpet_chicken? according to his live TR, he did a mega dose of 5-it, then plugged two 6-APB pellets along with some weird shit he ingested thru out the trip. Last thing he said was he curled up under a tree.

There is a good probability that he is currently being decomposed into plant food by maggots under a tree which he curled up ..

Anyone knows where said tree is?
 
I remember the come-up was like the beginning of a tryptamine for about an hour, then after that it feels very light and bouncy.

lol I dont think taking a combo of drugs is going to give you a "Good" probability to die. If it did, I would of died like 100x already.
