So much amphetamine tonight, and alcohol, and a little weed. My head is such a blur, was meant to be getting up in 3 hours but don't think I'll need that sleep after all since I still have some left.

It's rare that I have such a purely hedonistic night but it's nice once in a while when it's controlled and in a good atmosphere with friends you trust.

This is only my 4th or 5th time doing amphetamine. I did a lot, and it was street speed that I hadn't cleaned because it was free from a friend down at the pub. It was pretty high purity though, the kind where one small line had me REALLY high more like adderall than normal street speed.
 
some street amp is quite potent, depending on origin, sometimes giving a better high...

DOC is nice. however, im still working out the dosing pattern with it
 
Still haven't slept but did my last line 10 hours ago, smoked a couple of joints, had some beer and vodka, and think I'll be able to get to sleep in a moment :)

DOC is definitely on my list of psychedelics to try, though I don't know when I'll finally get around to it.
 
What's up PD? Haven't been on in a while (worky worky too much). I was hoping to have a relaxing weekend, but instead my wife and I got rear-ended, so I am am all startled and we can't drive our only car because the back is all fucked up and and back lights won't work. I wanted to go out tonight, but now we cant :(.

That sucks man, well, I'm sure both you and your wife will be able to find some way to entertain yourselves tonight. I vote that some kind of dissociative hole should be involved, then neither of you can muck up the other's evening.

Me, I'm busy having a double eye infection and awaiting Monday when I can pick up my Rx. So much eye discomfort, bleh.
 
Poor NNB. I had to have eye surgery once, the bandage contact drove me fucking ballistic until I got it out, two sleepless days later. Eye pain sucks.

I also got to find out that my vagus nerve lights up like the Vegas strip when my eyes get numbed, my blood pressure goes bye bye, and I drop like a sack of potaoes... (this was all before the surgery thankfully) That was a fun ride to the hospital, not being able to think straight OR see straight...
 
^That sounds like it was terrible, it's mostly just annoying for me. Nothing to stop me from delaying going to the pharmacy so I can get a lesson in a venerable old game of cards that morning. And it's a surprise to see you in here, sekio, to what do we owe the honor?

I'm enjoying a mild dose of some blotter `cid in celebration of Canada Day myself :) Normally I'm not one for social threads but I figured I would pop in PD and see how wacky people were getting. GF is out house/cat-sitting, so I had nothing better to do.

Dissociatives are really best enjoyed alone IMO. Especially if your S/O is not "into" dissociatives, social interaction can be too much/too difficult to bother with when you're journeying into a time vortex.
 
how does one cat-sit? isnt the whole point of cats the fact that they tend to themselves rather well? :)

also, i wonder just how big must the font be on the Beginners FAQ or Psychedelic Index threads/stickies on the main page so that at least the people starting threads on first time advice on substances have at least some idea of what to ask...
 
It doesn't matter that much I think. If people's attention is programmed to revolve around them being in a unique position needing advice on it, that sort of idea justifies posting without doing any homework. Reminding people to use the FAQ and Index will remain part of our duties and everyone willing to help remind these first-timers for the sake of once having been a first-timer themselves (or other reasons) is of course thanked for their volunteering.

Sekio, that sucks man - do you still have a sensitivity to vasovagal responses?

As for cat-sitting, someone needs to feed the little furry shit because as wily as she is, she lacks opposable thumbs and hence cannot use a can opener.

Yeah, as long as I keep foreign bodies and anesthetics out of my eyes I'm good though. I get vagal responses to seeing large quantities of blood and stuff too. Guess I'm not "cut out" to be a surgeon, huehuehue.

Thanks! ...they are mine. Picked up a new camera this spring and finally put it to good use.

I was planning on tripping at the site those pics were taken (Young Lakes), but the epic mosquito population prevented that from happening...came home a day early due to the bloodsuckers. Here's a 6"x10" section of my tent to convey the absurd number of mosquitoes that we encountered.
