fairly dry and warm here. Woke up to my therapist phoning me to ask if I'd slept in, she was right! Had a huge shit and posted it on EADD. Good start to the week.

I hate the trick they do to pretend their healthy, where they make a chocolate bar weigh about 1 gram and say "only 1 gram of fat and 5 cals". That or they sell duo bars and state explicitly they are meant for sharing 8) On the plus side, although I don't drink it any more, coca cola prices have gone through the floor on. I mean 6 ltrs for £3. They must be trying to kill us.
 
For chocolate, what the fuck is up with Freddos? Aren't they about 30p now? Also Five crisps, used to go buy a load of them for 5p each and then they disappeared, returned as High Fives which were 25p and reasonable enough, but they have now moved up to 30p. How does that even work?

Gone are the days when you could buy a tin of Coke for 50p (or less) and a chocolate bar. Whereas now you're forced to choose between a Mars Bar half the size or a can if a quid would even get you it.

I think the "this is a post" icon goes dark for posts you (could) have read and light for those you haven't (had the chance to). Utterly pointless either way!
 
I know there's a Sportball thread somewhere, but I don't really want to post in it...

Fucking funny, loads of the football fans at work today managed to get so excited by the England game tonight they even started babbling about how England might WIN the fucking cup....

I know fuck all about any sportball, but I know England ain't gonna win, and i know that cos of this fucking match, when I go to the Co-Op in 5 mins to get some Westons in, the shelves will be bare.

I'll have to drink Damson vodka.

Even as a kid I remember it being about 30/35p for a bar of chocolate alone. I remember the prices going up when suddenly one day I didn't have enough money for most of the chocolate in the shop anymore and had to start asking for an extra 10p whenever I was going to the shop for sweets.
 
Thanks knock for explaining the icons to me! :) still doesn't really make much sense though does it when you have the first unread post button :)
