What do people think about combinations with other psychs? I found a combo with MDAI lacking, perhaps because they are competing for the same site, but with 2C-B it was glorious.

^
I would be very careful mixing it with MDAI, I've read some awful stuff about that combo.

I personally have only mixed it with MXE (on the tail end of the AMT trip) and the synergy was beautiful, I ended up sniffing 80mg in 3 hours when my usual dose of MXE is around 50mg sub-lingual. Yes, it was THAT good :)

I combined it with 25i-NBOMe and it blew out my fuckin' gourd. In a good way, I suppose. If thinking you're dead because the visuals are so intense for 5 hours, running around town nearly naked at 3am, and then being reborn is a good thing.

:-)

I've not read anything bad about the MDAI combo. Cannibalsnail has some good reports on it and as I say, I don't really rate it. Felt like the MDAI was outcompeted from releasing any serotonin so only showed its 5-HT agonist side and added some visuals.

This was 30mg aMT and 80mg MDAI so nothing wild.

I think conventional psychedelics are really promising for the combo though.

i'd be interested in a poll regarding headaches....
esp headaches during the 'trip'
and is there a pattern to it ?
ie - are ppl who experience frequent headaches more likely to suffer ? Or has b.m.i got anything to do with it?

About 50mg Amt and 200mg MDAI is fantastic. However it was almost opiate like, I just sunk into a sofa with waves of euphoria rolling over me, almost falling asleep. Nowadays I much prefer MDAI + 2-FMA because I become far more sociable and energetic, though I suspect 5-APB + 2-FMA to be an even bigger winner.

Anything that makes you think this is more common than with any random other psychedelic? If there is, you're welcome to create a thread and poll whenever you want. If it generates some result (i.e. if at least some number of people actually take the poll) I can put a link in the Big & Dandy OP here, np.

^ I've seen quite a few mention headaches (more so than with other psychedelics) and whilst i've never had any myself they're quite common for one of mates when he's on AMT, usually towards the end of the experience.

I do tend to get a bit of a thick head towards the end of the trip, usual stimulant comedown type thing, and I tend not to drink very much when I'm on aMT, if at all, and do tend to sweat a little so there's possibly a bit of a dehydration thing going on there too, but I don't suffer anything more than that very mild headachey feeling, and nothing much to report during the come-up or peak so far. Nothing I wouldn't consider par for the course with any stimulant or psychedelic out there really, not just aMT.

Good post, you could be onto something with the dehydration - AMT is a strong stimulant and lasts ages. I've also noticed that I don't drink very much as food/drink just doesn't appeal when tripping. Should be easy enough to test - next time I do it I'll remind my mate to drink more and see if he still gets a headache :).

Given the extreme duration of aMT, if you're not drinking much/at all during that time you're definitely going to be dehydrated, and that would likely cause these headaches.

I noticed when I took aMT I also didn't keep hydrated well enough as I kept forgetting to drink, so I wouldn't be surprised if justinsayno's problem was due to dehydration too.

The reason i mentioned it is I've read a few reports mention intense headaches.
I'm not afriad of feeling queasy as i'll be plugging it, and have experienced queasy feelings when coming up on MDMA and APB.
I've had some AMT stashed in my fridge for some time now, on paper it sounds like my perfect drug [ i love nearly tripping ] but the thought of booking time off work, getting the brood out of the house, getting all excited only to spend the day in pain has been putting me off.
I get a lot of headaches anyway which is why i wondered if i might be more susceptible.

Doubt i'll start a poll myself because, despite reading the FAQ and generally looking around, i can't see how to [ probabaly me just being a bit thick ] and because i've already made my mind up to take it as soon as i get the chance anyway.

Thanks to the people who responded though =-]

I always try and keep hydrated with aMT (especially when inside, if there's a kettle and teabags imho there is NO excuse for the tea not to flow ;) ) but have also noticed headaches sometimes. They're never bothersome, just 'there', very mild, and usually there are far more interesting things to concern myself with and then they get forgotten. Once I come down, the headaches leave. :)

ever tried taking a paracetamol or something similar to get rid of it?
sorry to harp on.
That AMT is going up my ass one day, love the thought of a purely recreational psychedelic. Just dont want to end up regretting it and wishing i'd just done 250mg of APB instead [ that gives me a candyflip headspace but is lacking in the visuals department ]

Once or twice, I've found a couple ibuprofen did the trick if there were any at hand, but to be honest the headaches never really bothered me much. I also get headaches a fair bit in sobriety too, but nothing severe (used to get migraines as a child, ouch).

By headache I think most people literally mean just a bit of a headache, not like migraines or anything. I mean my mate's mentioned it a couple of times whilst on it, but never complained about it or mentioned it outside the trip. I don't (and i'm sure many others also) ever have a problem with them.

I would have thought paracetamol would sort it out, although if you're going down the painkillers route I'd go with asprin instead as it thins the blood which would be helpful to counter act the vasco-constriction. (Just a thought) :)

I think slight headaches are pretty normal towards the end of long-acting psychedelics. I also get this with 2c-i.

In the headache department, I have noticed that smoking weed at the tail-end of the trip delivers a quite powerful headache on top of the other euphoric sensations and lingering visuals.

Onwards, I am curious regarding the upper limits of insufflation of AMT.
I have safely eaten 50 mg and on several separate occasions snorted ~5 mg.
For some long weekend concert arriving soon, I was thinking perhaps ~10 mg would be
a maximum safe dose for myself and a few others.
Any experience with nasal AMT? Anything greater than or equal to 15 mg intranasal
seems like it could be very intense, but I'd like
to check here before going in blind.
