Morning guys! :) Afternoon actually, 2pm here :D

laC love I really think you are at a crossroads here. I entirely appreciate not liking having sobriety enforced upon you. However, just spend a minute having a think about what your life would be like if you did just up and leave so you can get high, with nowhere to stay. You'd likely end up on the streets, taking more and more drugs because that's all you have. You'd find it difficult/impossible to work living rough. You'd end up with no money, no home, no way of getting work, and possibly a nasty addiction on top of that. How would you get back from there? It is possible of course but it is so hard - just read some of the stories in TDS..

On the other hand, you could move into as half-way house and go to college in Dec, give yourself the chance of a good future with a roof over your head and a job you enjoy and enough money to live on, and able to indulge in drugs in a recreational and not addictive way, as you don't need them to blot out the reality of being homeless and broke and stuck. Or you could stay with your parents, save up, concede to a sober summer then head off to college in Dec with plenty of money and your parents support. I know it's hard and horrible and unfair that these are your choices but unfortunately life is kinda like that.. don't fuck up your life because someone is being unfair towards you <3

Good luck dude, I feel like the BDD regs are family and I really want to see things work out for the best for you <3

+1 and then some.. laC, I know it's a bitch but you CAN get sober, even just til Dec. But don't throw away family & a good education for a very short lived high!! Good luck hun <3
Hehe effie. Gotta love wakin up n smokin a fat bowl. I finally got my pretty glass bowl, can't let it feel left out.. Heh.
Lil more to clean..dishes ugh..then it's my weekend!!
Sold the car so of course I'm pickin up 7 grams for the weekend ;)
 
We don't really use bowls in the UK, it's spliffs (with tobacco), bongs or occasionally blunts.. I have no idea why bowls are so popular in the US but not the UK. The difference between the countries fascinates me :)

I might have to get myself a bowl :D
 
I only have a pair of bowls currently. I had a really fancy one but it's seemed to have disappeared... Quite upset about that, however it's just an excuse to get another gandalf pipe. :) Used to have a badass one..

Love getting shiny new bits and pieces in the mail. <3

Finally got in touch with my old dealer and am able to get hold of good fucking gear again!

Lovely dark coloured stuff can get my nod on from .2g

The stuff I've been having to buy in the meantime was cut to high heaven, it would take me at least half a g and even then wouldn't achieve a proper nod.

Happy happy happy :) just thought I'd share my elation with you all!

Smoking biz gear is depressing but because Lady H has got her claws in you, ya just have to keep buying it and smoking it even though you know it's shit but it's all you can get!

Oh yeah GBs (do you guys also call them buckets?) are definitely awesome as long as I don't cough all over the place :D I am very fond of home-made smoking devices (crackpipes etc hehe) so I've never actually got round to buying a proper bong.. plus I have shit girly lungs :|

I might see if I can get bowls to catch on here, although I really love rolling spliffs..
 
it differs from place to place in the US as well
everyone just has they're own preferences - I personally prefer to smoke joints even though I know its not the most economical solution; when I was at university it was all spliffs, uk style.

bowls were probably next popular after joints and spliffs followed by bongs and vapes. Blunts were a rarity. at least that's my experience.

its way different in new england for me now though. I'm just about the only person I know that would pick a joint/spliff first. Seems everyone here smokes bowls or bongs.
 
Interesting.. spliffs with tobacco are most common here, then bongs, then everything else but it varies from person to person (some prefer bongs etc). Bowls are pretty much unheard of.
 
whats up everyone? i finally feel happy that i am moving in the right direction and doing what i want to do with my life. i plan on getting an apartment and quitting hard opiates with suboxone....but i am worried about one thing

do oyu have to be pphysically dependent on opiates to qualify for suboxone treatment? because i am not...i just really want to stop using heroin and oxy
