Gemstones/Crystals Magical properties

I think there might be something to it although personally I haven't given it enough thought or investigation.. until someone shows me how I can rule Mordor by sticking a quartz crystal to the top of a walking cane, I'll pass.

I know alot of people that swear crystals have some kind of power and carry them around with them everywhere. theyre always talking about how they need to charge there crystal under the moonlight and whatnot. also they have some unquestionable power because they are used in microchips for computers. the governments keep large amounts of the highest quality crystals in a safe becuase if someone had too much crystal they could make some crazy powerful computer.

What? Is there any logic behind this, or do you just choose to believe whatever you want (or because the shrooms told you it was so)?

Im serious. thats what these people tell me at least and they really do believe it. im not sure whether theres anything to it or not. like if your ever at a music festival or something and see a random hippy with a crystal on a necklas or something ask em about it you might be surprised lol

Yes I do, and I use them in my work. I can see auras and every crystal has one. I have studied the effects of crystals for a long time and I have been intuitively drawn to the use of crystals since I was a kid.

For anyone that doesn't believe in this, buy a selenite lamp and put it next to your bed, and see how shitty your sleep becomes; or hold a piece of moldavite in the palm of your hand. Better yet, put a bunch of quartz around the plants in your homes, or even a selenite, and watch how much faster the plants grow.

There is plenty of research on crystal energy, mostly coming out of Russia and the Eastern EU. Western Europe and the U.S. has been too affected by Christianity to publicize paranormal research.

My mates party trick these days is to get people really fucked by holding crystals up to their faces.

Try doing some MDMA and holding a piece of quartz next to your jaw.

Pretty sure it's the MDMA rather than the silicon dioxide getting you high there.

I remember when this thread first appeared and I was quite indifferent towards it. Thought it was quite possible but probably a load of junk. About a month later I changed my opinion on the subject, after my friends came back from a month in Ibiza with a load of crystals.

I've got no idea how it works but with eyes shut and no way to tell if the crystal is present or not, there is a noticeable difference between the quartz being there and not, across a wide range of different people. It makes your jaw rattle pretty vigorously and tends to induce a sense of peace and calm.

They seem to have a powerful synergy with certain drugs, though these days my mate can hold his crystal up to his eyes and they flicker and roll back into his head, whilst completely sober.

The tail end of 2C-D and concentrating on my own crystal was fucking ridiculous.

Do you feel anything holding it on your face when not on drugs? Or are you just tripping out?

My friend does, but he's put a lot of time in meditating and stuff. I'm too lazy.

The way that his eyes flicker I'm fairly certain no person could force themselves to do.

Hi, i have two stones which i carry around in my pocket and have done for a couple of years, i don't know what they are, one was given to me by a close friend and i believe may have been called an Apache eye. When this friendship/relationship stopped this stone developed a small crack which has slowly got bigger (weird i know) when i feel stressed i hold them in my left hand and get some kind of comfort, i'm sure one of them gets warm. Do i believe in them? I guess i must do...

I have a rose-quartz which is mean to be good for the heart chakra and love.

Amethyst which is good for addiction and a Native American stone whose name escapes me but is good for grief.

I recently got introduced to this. I started a thread in SO but it was shut down.
I was looking for extra (empirical) evidence/theories about these healing properties. I have read this thread and have found some things, but I would like to read more about it.

Next week I'm planning an experiment with MDMA/4HOMET/mushrooms. Can I enhance/alter my experience using gems ? I have opalite in the bedroom, amethyst at my computer and rainbow obisidian at my chillout/medidate area.

edit: I have these things for 36 hours now and I do feel extra energy and more emotional balance.
I did however drop 8mg's of 5MeO-MiPT at a wellness spa with chocolate scrubbing/wrapping and massage so it could also be an afterglow... However I think I feel something else that's normally not there with a psychedelic afterglow. I can't say what, exactly.

I think that as soon as you take the drugs you will find the whole idea laughably ridiculous (if you take enough). To my knowledge, the only crystal with healing properties is DMT.
