The Aus/NZ/Asia Drug Busts Mega-Thread El Número Cuatro DISCUSSION thread

Isnt this thread meant to be about bust discussions? Thats why I created it. Kind of shit that its derailed as it gives more of a chance for mods to delete it :S

Yeah, this thread's turned to shit in the last page or so :|

Do you want to start a new one and I'll close this one, or just go from here and I'll remove any off-topic?

My last post was on topic, those sea snails were found in a drug bust.

I noticed that while most of that off-topic discussion was going was while there weren't many articles being posted in the thread... I'm starting to add articles now whenever I get the chance so hopefully we see some discussion of the articles.

I guess it comes down to who has the time to put in such a great job as the last gentleman did. I really enjoyed his thread and miss it so much but unfotyunately he may have been one of a kind

SYD - Two charged as $250k ecstasy seized

Two men have been charged after police allegedly found 5,000 ecstasy tablets in a car in Sydney's south-west last night.

The silver Holden Commodore was stopped on the M5 motorway at Casula at about 9:30pm (AEDT).

During a search police seized the ecstasy, which they say has an estimated street value of $250,000.

Police then arrested the car's 36-year-old driver and found a knife.

He was charged with driving while suspended and having custody of a knife in a public place.

A 32-year-old passenger was also arrested after police allegedly found a device to smoke ice.

He was charged with large-scale commercial drug supply and possessing a drug implement.

Both men were refused bail to face court today.

Wtf? Do they exagerate these things to make it sound better n bigger then it really is?
Who the fuck pays $50 for a pill

It's not really worth buying in bulk if you can't significantly overpay the street price while you're at it.

The police and media tend to hype the prices up to make it look like a bigger bust than it actually is. I suppose some places do sell for that much especially in the NT and parts of WA.

True that but you never know where it was destined. But yeah your right I'm not entirely sure why police would increase its value that much apart from making the bust seem bigger. I mean 5000 pills isnt worth that much obviously. If you times the 5000 with the bulk value u wouldnt end up with a large sum, well not as big as 250k anyway.

Dont they do the same thing with dope busts?...They seize 200 seedlings with an estimated street value of whatever they would be worth when mature? Not what they are worth now....as 5cm seedlings?

years ago I remember being told the figures aren't say 5000 x $50 in one sale but dealer a sells them at 5ea, b sells at 15 ea and c sells at 30 to get the total dollars 'on the street' being 50 each overall. Naturally it's implied that 50 each because 50 pills are so more bad ass than 30 pills.

Hence you see stupid figures at bulk volumes that don't reflect the actual context of the people selling that actual volume at initially.

Yeah its sad :S

I see what you mean but there is no logic behind that calculation. If A sells it for 5, B sells it for 10, C sells it for 12, D sells it for 15, E sells it for 20-25 and maybe F sells it for 30 top end then its worth $92? or w/e it works out to be. It usually goes through way more than 3 hands before it hits say the clubs.

from my understanding 'P' is what we call 'ice' or crystal meth. does anyone else think the 'P' they supposedly found in this raid looks wierd, it looks like its very low quality or not even 'P'. Does 'p' commonly look like that in NZ, does it look like "p' to kiwis or do you think the NZHerald just used any old photo for their story?? Maybe some kiwis can help.

Maybe a stock photo, who knows. A search of google brings up some kinda similar looking stuff on pure meth amphetamine. Colour wise anyway. Shit looks pretty chunky in the pic. Who knows what they make at the source.

Drug dealer convicted of murdering associate

A 28-year-old Melbourne drug dealer has been convicted of murdering his associate at a Campbellfield factory three years ago.

A Supreme Court trial heard Peter Rule, 56, was shot ten times by his associate Leonard Borg.

Borg believed Mr Rule had dobbed him into police over a cannabis crop.

The jury heard Borg then went to great lengths to dispose of the body by first burning it, then using acid to dissolve it.

The remains were dumped at Aireys Inlet, in south-western Victoria,

The jury deliberated for three days before finding Borg guilty of murder.

He will be sentenced at a later date.

the guy went to great lengths to dispose of the body. first burnt it then used acid on the remains.

so my question is.

if there was no body. how could they have convicted him of murder?????

no dead body, no crime, therefore no murder innit??????????????????
(im not asking cuz i'm planning on offing someone. Just asking cuz i'm really curious ha)

Doesnt work like that unfortunately.
If there is no body found the police can work out (beyond reasonable doubt) that the case is most likely a homicide rather than just someone gone hiding relatively quick in the investigation.

Usually in a case like this (drug related) the missing person is normally known to police so the cops have ideas on who to question for information, and/or unless its a full professional hit the culprits will always leave clues/information for the police to find them. most often the culprits are seen in the area the same time the missing person was seen last, and/or they brag to friends/other people in the drug game who give the information to police, and/or they are seen abducting the missing person etc etc.

ALso the acid wouldnt dissolve the entire human body, depending where they dumped the remains there would still be human remains found, and the location they killed the person would have DNA traces all over.

Lol the only way the police would possibly be without any hard evidence is if the kidnappers put the body and acid in a drum, drilled afew holes in the top and weld a sinker to it and dump it out past sydney heads. the boat used would need to be owned/rented by a person not related and with no criminal history, and when they kidnap the man they would need to be wearing full body plastic suits. With the victim still alive, his then driven to a remote shoreline/beach (so that all blood/footprints etc is washed away next high tide) and killed. maybe this scenario would leave less traces of the missing person.... but all of that planning would still not prevent the killers being linked to the missing person.

Ever heard of evidence left at the crime scene like DNA? I'm sure there are other ways as well to find out. Just because there isnt a body doesnt mean the crime hasnt occurred.

Acer locates lab

Acer Taskforce detectives have uncovered what is believed to be a clandestine drug laboratory in Hadfield this morning.

The lab was located following the execution of a warrant at a Jensen Street residential property at around 6.45am.

Members from the Clandestine Laboratory Squad are attending the address to assess the set up.

A 22-year-old Hadfield man was arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Local community assistance is important – anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 fuk cops or visit www.grasshoppers.com.au. This can be done in any drug induced state.

1800 fuk cops? weirddd. Did they write that? LOL
