New RCs in the UK Ver. 4: Still disappointed?

I'm pretty interested in this ethylphenidate now. JSpete how much did you consume in total, how long did it last and how easy was it on the heart??
 
It looks the only decent RC stimulant coming up in last months, ethylphenidate. Considering its close relative methylphenidate its pretty safe and well studied, it seems a potential winner. Hmmmm already got something to order in end of month. :D

I bought a gram, shared it with a friend, so roughly 500mg over 24 hours. Most doses were 30mg insufflated, 2 were 60mg bombed. We tried sublingual once, but the taste was so bad we swallowed after a minute. My friend was left with a sore mouth from the corrosion (this stuff is acidic). My nose isn't feeling too great either. Not as bad as camfet-nose though.

This stuff feels mercifully easy on the heart. No palps, no pains, even after a day, nothing. I became very physically weak, but this was purely from lack of food. Once I had eaten, my energy came back.

We took some MXE on the comedown, and strange things happened. 10mg had us mentally holed. That is not an exaggeration. I don't know what sort of black magic causes MXE to potentiate to such a degree (bearing in mind both of us have a fair tolerance to MXE), but the combination could be very dangerous (as always seems to be the case with MXE...Such a weird drug).

I got a lot of sleep last night. Feeling achy today, and a little lacking in energy, but my mood is good. It seems that the crash happens immediately after you run out of drugs and are left exhausted and sleep deprived, much like mephedrone. Food and sleep are the solution.

If you've got the salt, it's neutral. If you have the free base... it's a base. Substances can be irritating or corrosive without being acidic.

I assumed Ethylphenidate is acidic from reading this post in the Ethylphenidate Discussion thread:

Ethylphenidate

Got some Ethylphenidate, did 25mg intranasal, burned quite a bit but apart from that didn't get any nice euphoria just a slightly stimulated feelings.

Maybe I need to up the dosage?
 
Sounds like weak speed. I'd suggest just getting some speed instead.
 
Got ethylphenidate. Very crystally, so I crushed it within an inch of its life, weighed out 30mg, sniffed some water then sniffed the powder. Not so much pain, just a brief and mild sting. 30 minutes later I felt mildly stimulated, barely any euphoria, so I prepared another 30mg and took in the same way. 10 minutes later and the euphoria is clear, mentally and bodily, feels nice and clean, the closest comparison I have is cocaine, but without the sketchiness I've often had from that (although that's probably down to shit coke). Heart rate an unconcerning 96bpm at rest (normally around 73 for me, I don't get much exercise).

EDIT: Actually, there is a bit of sketchiness, and it reminds me a bit why I'm not a massive fan of coke. I have things to do and I don't feel like doing them, I'd rather waste time. But I've been drinking since lunchtime, and maybe this doesn't help.

Feel OK thanks, effects wore off about 3 hours after first dose. I think the alcohol was largely responsible for feeling sketchy. Took some etizolam to smooth things out too. It was a small dose, so no crash really.
 
Sort of undecided on actually ordering now... Read a few conflicting reports :L
And Knockando's experience has put me off just slightly
Gonna read some more stuff and decide. I probably will end up getting it anyway!

I wouldn't read too much into the negative bits of my experience, I'd drunk about 1.5 bottles of wine and four or five pints, and eaten too much. I was dehydrated and feeling a bit queasy.
 
2nd Trial of ethylphenidate

I weighed out two 25mg doses, both insufflated within a 2 hour period.

The second top up seems to be adding a little push, I will have to continue my research to see if this has any legs.

Anyone tried basing with bicarb(ala crack) then vaping some ?

Also the pain upon it hitting the nose membranes could that be from the Piperidine part of the structure ?
 
Experiment continued with ethylphenidate

Well I have had another 25mg/25mg and just now 35mg. I'm finishing the experiment as the outcome isn't as expected.

Doesn't seem to be going anywhere,Maybe this just does not work for me.

my waffle, i don't do trip reports.

Heart rate elevated ,seems in the same range as a strong coffee would do over the course of drinking many cups during the day.
BP feels oddly lower than normal.
Smoked more ciggies than normal, probably the dopamine reward more pronounced.
got a little GI disturbance, just noisy and bubbly like when you are very hungry.

concentration not focused, ive started many tasks around the house and finished none.

All in all I feel a bit let down by it, my hopes where higher based on the fact that lots of people abuse Ritalin to get a good effect.
 
I'm surprised the reports aren't better. My experience with ethylphenidate was very good. It just finished all too quickly.
