Without getting into vendor talk, there is a statement "out there" that the dopamine transporter binding affinity (my terminology is likely off) of ethylphenidate is a fraction of that of methylphenidate, yet the numbers on wikipedia suggest to me that the opposite is the case. But I don't know how to interpret these numbers. Bigger affinity values mean "lower affinity"?
I've also found this Ethylphenidate thread, which has equally mixed anecdotal reports ranging from 'pretty darn good' to 'pretty darn shit'. There seems to be a general concurrence that either way, the comedown will be very unpleasant if you push it. A lot of comparing to cocaine as well.
Aside from the comedown (which really shouldn't be a surprise/big deal for any seasoned user), I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I'll be posting my experience with ethylphenidate once it comes into my possession.
