^ don't give up Lucy will find you when she is ready and you will be thankful when she does :)

Been meaning to post this for awhile but kept forgetting.

"If it's bitter it's a spitter" is the saying I always kept in my mind prior to trying LSD and when I finally tried LSD and the tab did not taste bitter I was instantly reassured. Well known tabs I've tried have been Cherubs, Third Eye-Skulls, Fear and Loathings/Hunter S. Thompsons, Felix the Cats and more recently the Jimi Hendrix tabs. I am 100% sure that every tab I've taken has been LSD but the Fear and Loathings, Felix the cats and the Jimi Hendrix tabs have all had a bitter taste to them. Just curious if anyone would know why this is? Is the saying "If it's bitter it's a spitter" no longer valid?

Also, please excuse me if this topic has already been discussed, I simply don't have the time or motivation to read through all 37 pages of this thread.

Festivalfun :D

The felix cats are def LSD man, if its a bitter then its a spitter doesnt always apply although it is a good rule of thumb to go by. The ink/dye or even the medium can also have a bitterish taste. When u ingest DOx trust me u will know what the difference is. The squares are usually a lot bigger too with DOx tabs.

Yay! I knew I was crazy to think they might not be. Thanks heaps for the info! :D

Also, so generally happy with the abundance of LSD atm! :D

I've seen a few DOx tabs over the years and none have been bigger squares, just thicker board. It's obvious if you're looking for it or you compare it to other tabs, but easy to miss otherwise.

Festivalfun you're a lucky guy having never tasted DOx in Adelaide...

haha.

festi u said u wana try some do(x)s???

dont worry mate next time i see u, i'll let u experience DOI ;D

Storage

Yeh with all this heat around lads try and keep your tabbys sealed up in a little bit of foil and in a nice cool, dark cupboard. . :-D ;-)

I took LSD for the first time about a year ago (sugar cubes) and I must admit, it's changed my life.

Overnight I've literally given up drinking, using amphetamine and taking pills. For some reason, I just don't see the point anymore.

Anyway, it was an awesome experience and thought I'd share.

^^ wow dude great post. Glad LSD did all that for you in one go.

welcome to BL, we acually have a thread for posts like that one. we should move it over there as I felt the same things when I srted taking LSD but unfortunatley still fall into old habits again sometimes.

Wished that afterglow and insight lasted in the front of my psyche for longer... LSD has no doubt changed me for the better but I found it is not a 100% cure for happiness for me anyays.

still amazing.

please move post to dicussing as I don't know how.

Yeh I still think acid is a wonder drug, but as soon as I started taking mild doses regualry like a couple tab Felix strength twice a month or more, it stopped being as great.

Then about a month or so back I dropped 4 Felix on my own with no other drugs except maybe 4 shots of vodka spaced out slowly. Was so intense and the come up broke my psyche down and how should I say ..... Difficult at times. Then once peaked had a classic insightful spiritual trip.

I think LSD knows you, and if you want the epic spiritual vibe then it's not for free. You have to push yourself and it's not going to be all peachy, but having all your psyche and mental barriers completely blown away never is. But once you make it through and the dose is sufficient then the second half is really epic as you realize and come to terms with what I'd really going on inside you r head/ ego.

Sorry for ramble but the words are coming to me.

^ I have to agree with you about the epic spiritual vibe, i experienced ego loss not once but 3 times on my 3rd Lsd trip....one shall trip again when all of the previous chemical is out of your system. Gravity bongs also do not help when u forget your tripping and have another not only but 5-10 minutes later after the first lol. Lucy is certainly an amazing chemical and has changed me for the better. I might throw up some art inspired by that trip in here which was drawn by my partner and myself. She is the artist, i just help thrown in ideas!

For me the key to a great trip is being outdoors. The first few times I took acid I would watch youtube videos or movies and just laugh and criticize them. That was when Lucy started to kick me around and I started getting quite depressed during the last 3-4 hours of each of my trips. I suddenly realised that this was happening because I was wasting my trips by doing things I could do any day of the week. Ever since then I have made sure I go on long walks with good company and my LSD trips have never been better. Even taking half a tab and going for a walk around the suburbs is better than taking a huge dose and staying indoors. All the self-discovery that I have achieved on LSD has been from going on an adventure. :D

for sure man ... ^

Although my biggest trips have been indoors/ hanging out a window one time REALLY fucked on 3 super strong tabs... :p hahahah... that really freaked my mrs for a while :-S :-(

But walking around tripping is fun.. depending on what suburb you live in haha! I wouldnt wanna wander around kigns cross tripping, although I have many times.. its not really that fun or pleasant... the people remind me of the scene from Fear and Loathing where they all turn into lizards fucking when his trip boots in. They really are animals haha..

Few weeks back me and my mrs just laid out in our backyard on a mattress and heaps of sheets and doonas on the grass looking at the stars with hendrix cranking on the outdoor system :-D ... We also had a nice little 25mg dose of pure 2C-B as a combo... hehe. VERY nice.

But movie nights can be fun also.. we will often trip for ages then come in and watch trailer park boys or something else hilarious. Fuck that show is good.. never gets old. :-D ! ! !

gotta get my lawn cut this week so i can fuckin hang out there again this week.. bit of a jungle atm.

I totally agree. I've had some good trips indoors but the best are usually outdoors - even better if you can get away from the city.

I'm also a fan of low-dose trips, especially to space out the big ones. There's a Low-Dose LSD Appreciation Thread in the Psychedelic Drugs forum ;)

My 1st trip was out doors in park not too far from my house....It was truly amazing being in nature....it was during the day. The other 2 ties i tripped were at night and the sky/stars looked simply amazing....when not cloudy/overcast haha

Clouds can be just as fun if not more! ;-)

... once we thought there was like 50 helicopters in the sky over the city flying towards my mates deck that overlooked the city hahaha... We went inside for a bit after that! hahaha

I'm blessed living out in the sticks with no neighbors or noise-pollution and cid is the duck's nuts in this setting. In the 30+ years Ive been here I have never had anything less than a fulfilling experience with varying degrees of intensity. Walking around / working outside is random and sometimes nearly overwhelming because nothing is hidden from view so there is a lot to try and process. Daylight lends more to spontaneous (read harmless) shit happening which can be as funny as fuck to deal with. Conversely, I've had a bloke turn up unannounced from the shire to do a pool inspection
and got called out once to fight a grass fire an hour after taking my tab. I'm smiling now when I think back, but then it was a real mess to handle.Night-time is still pretty wild walking around outside by torchlight sidestepping the wildlife (real and conjured) and absorbing the sounds. Tends to be less intrusions from outside the bubble to deal with as well.
