The right music and dosing at the right pace make all the difference. I've had my fair share of "ugh why do I do this to myself" experiences, but the more experience I get the less often they happen. I only dose through IM so that could also make a difference. The right music is highly subjective of course, but I've found that kid cudi is the perfect music for this. As for dosing, I start off with 45 mg (nice, feel mellowed out), follow up with another 45 mg a half hour to hour later (really starting to feel it, sway with the beat and dance a bit, occasional moments of slipping out), then wait another half hour to hour and do one more dose (FFUUUUUUCCCK YESSSS). Don't let the music stop, keep the room darkish, sit in tinychat and attempt to communicate when you feel the need. If you begin to feel antsy or the nature of reality starts to bother you either get up and dance/stretch or close your eyes. Make sure to stay warm, all my worst trips have been when I was cold, it made me feel empty.
Fuck, I might dose a couple of times before bed, this stuff is too great.
