Did you start with weed?

I started with alcohol, the reason probaply was because it was so easy to get, after that I tried weed, then the rest followed. I think alcohol is much more a gateway drug, because once you tried it, and you like the effects it gives you, you might get persuaded to try more consciousness altering drugs, alcohol is the drug that everyone starts with.

Ow, and this isn't another "look which drugs I have taken" thread.

Very perceptive point ... funny how you never hear that one from anti-weed lobbyists.

Actually, I do find alcohol mildly psychedelic. There's a definite alteration of perceptions and thought-patterns. Maybe I've just been doing shrooms for too long. :)

i tried weed before I ever tried anything else. Fist was weed, then alcohol (if that counts), salvia, then MDMA, etc.
I dont think its really a gateway drug because i have tried a few drugs, but Pot always draws me back.
 
sad to say, my dumb ass started huffing my inhaler when i was like 10. then alki, then weed, pain pills(they suck in my opinion), mushrooms, doc,2c-e, doi,acid,2c-b,4ho-mipt,mdma,and i think that's it so far, the order may be a little off, but you know.:)
 
These are the substances that I use and how often I use them

1) Nicotine (Daily)
2) Weed (Daily)
3) Alcohol (Once or twice a week)
4) Diphenhydramine (Quit)
5) Dextromethorphan (3-4 Times a week)
6) Ativan (A few high doses [10-15mg])
7) Gas Inhaling (Quit)
8) Nitrous (Whenever I can get my hands on it)

The only things that I've quit are Diphenhydramine and Gas Inhaling.

I did alcohol, DXM, and ephedrine before ever smoking pot.
 
Hash - DXM - LSA - mushroom - 4-HO-MIPT - 2C-E...several others

I hate to say it but DXM so far has given me the most spiritual, out of body, CEV intense experiences. It's just fantastic how it provides the most intense 3d visual flights through alien worlds. Experiences that leaves me flabbergasted by amazement. It does however not hold the same value when dealing with the introspective and therapeutic qualities of the experience.

4-HO-MIPT was the one who sent me head first into the fractals behind reality, but DXM had me experience being inside my mothers womb and flying over the city i life in.

The psychedelic experience of flight is somewhat amazing and it can act as a catalyst for flying in dreams. Yeah!
