Yeah I've gotten into a lot of trouble becoming good friends and hanging out with my dealers. :\
 
What up gang! Hopefully some of you guys are still on this board and I hope some still remember me, its probably been close to a year now (holy shit time flies!)

I'm happy to announce I've been totally clean from heroin and meth for just over 6 months now. I started at the methadone clinic almost 7 months ago. It took me about two weeks to get to the right dose and thats when I stopped the H, once I was comfortable. I had one slip up at month 2 but that was once and it hasn't happened since. Stopping meth just followed with it since I don't hang around those types of people anymore. Although I'm not swearing off amps for life either. In fact I'm deeply considering using up a "once every few months meth night" incredibly soon.

I know this is more of a blog or sober recov. type post, so my apologies, but I knew most ppl here in this topic so I hope its cool I posted this here.

How is everyone doing?? How has the dope game been?

Congrats on the sobriety, man. Be careful with that planned "casual" meth use though, hah. Sounds dangerous. :\
 
^^Congratulations man....Yeah, meth is one of those things that using casually and using regularly makes a huge difference! It would be a great drug for anyone to use in moderation occasionally, it's just not always that easy!

he only asked that we pick up a bunch of girls at the bar. And here in Montana being a big black dude you kind of stand out and people act all afraid and shit so we pulled in the girls for him. Im pretty sure he had a good time and i woke up on a gas station bench at least once this weekend.

Yes, I have had dealers ask if I could rent them cars for them in my name. I did this twice because the deal was just too good to pass up, but I can only guess how if something went wrong, how it could change my life for the worse

I figured you wouldn't let anyone talk you into doing something you didn't want to do. As long as you had a good time that's what counts.
 
i was definitely down. Fuck me and 1 other buddy moved his whole house in 1 uhaul trip so he threw us each a half g and took us out all weekend. Fair compensation i think.

Sup guys, how's it hanging?
Just checking in. Been lurking again and thought I'd talk about myself a little if that's cool. Idk if anyone remembers me, I didn't post all that much but I got clean back in May. That lasted a little more than two months. Relapsed about three weeks ago when I bought four bundles which i had planned on making last for about a month. Well, needless to say, things didn't go as planned. When I had 16 bags left (a little more than a bun and a half) my dad went through my bag and found the last bundle which I hadn't been carrying on my person as well as several used syringes and a couple of xanax pills. I was pissed that he would invade my privacy like this considering I am no longer a teenager and am only living here for a few months but I couldn't really do anything. I had to come clean and now I have an appointment with a substance abuse doctor later today. The thing is, since he found my stash, I was so pissed i used the remaining 6 bags which I had on my person (preventing them from being found with the bundle in my bag) pretty much all at once instead of weening off like I had planned. Predictably, I faced withdrawals as a result. I suffered for about three days, until my next paycheck came in and proceeded to go back out and buy another 5 bundles. Now i'm down to 13 bags, about to snort 3 right now before my appointment and hopefully shoot another 3 later tonight and continue using in this manner until its all gone. Depending on what happens with the doctor I might finally end my four year love affair with heroin. Or maybe not. It really depends on what happens today I suppose.

Does anyone have any similar experience and can give me a bit of a heads up on what I should be expecting with this doctor today and into the future? Like is there a possibility that I will be prescribed subs or something to make it easier for me to quit? Because that's the only way I'm going to stop. I know I can't quit cold turkey. I can get through the physical symptoms of WD but once they're gone I always forget how bad it was and convince myself to go back provided that I keep myself in check this time. You all know how that goes 8)

Anyway, hope all is well and any advice/updates with you all are appreciated!
 
^ The only time I have had any length of " clean" time was on Maintinace. Be it subs or methadone. Personally I liked the methadone best after a year or so topping out at 150mg I tapered off if and really had no desire to use for several months. Until was prescribed Vicodin.

So you got totally clean after tapering off the methadone? How long were you straight for until you got the vic script?

About 6 months I'm not gonna lie I still wanted to use it was mainly the boredom that got to me. It is like I lose all passion for everything.

Yeah bordem and lack of motivation has killed me and caused me to relapse many times. Good luck, man.
