Zolpidem

As if my little zolpidem thread is still going strong after all these months! Its kinda like a z-drug social thread now.lol @jollypecker, I hear you bout the zopiclone, im a big fan of them. Infact im recovering from a two year addiction to em. Personally I find them to be more anxiolytic then the classic benzos, except maybe nitrazepam...moggies were awesome back in the day when you could still get em!

Ive never had street heroin but im prescribed a couple of different opiates and I can say ime zopiclone is a hell of alot more addictive then any of the opiates or true benzos that ive tried. Its probably not as addictive as heroin but id imagine in the longterm its as damaging to mental health.
 
Are we talking addicted as in taking them constantly, ie 'traditional' addiction, or as in not being able to sleep without them? Interested....

In my case it was needing them to relax enough to sleep but I would crave them constantly all day, waiting for the clock to get round to zop'oclock. that sounds so pathetic now that I think bout it. :-(When I got my dose down to the lower end of the theraputic dose range it was just abit of anxiety and trouble sleeping, which pregabalin acted as a godsend for when I plucked up the courage to come off the zopiclone. As pontifex said they seriously mess up your mental health, especially when you get up to the 30mg plus dose range. Crazy, considering the amount of shit they caused me but I would still love a few right now.lol

Funny thing is...i still havent tried zolpidem!lmao

On a serious note though, im sorry to hear that you had such a dire experience and glad that your ok. :-)
 
I'm another one who doesn't seem to get any positive (or negative for that matter) effects from Zolpidem. A mate was given a box of these by the GP to try out. They sent him 'weird' according to his wife so naturally, I offered to clean them up. 110mg in 4 hours later, I notice nothing and still slept like absolute shit.

Some of the stories are fantastic though, one that particularly tickled me was a dude who decided to shit himself then woke up in his garden clutching a backpack full of lego. Sensational!
 
Zolpidem is one of my all time favourites but it is a bitch to withdraw off- i'd say the only things i've had more trouble with were maybe etiz and gbl, but that's prablably not true.

I absolutley adore zolpidem, think it's miles better than sonata, but becareful on compulsive redosing. I used to start with one and before i knew i'd done 5. My mates would be passing me a spliff and i just wan't there. That can be dangerous stuff. You don't wanna fall out of window or something. Fortunately with me, I learned to use it respectfully very quickly. Cut it right down to 1 and half tabs a night, done in 3 separate doses, while smoking with my mates (i don't spliff on it's own,too much paranoia,needs something to accompany it, whatever that somwthing may be).
 
hate them or rather the metallic taste in the morning - i had a box for years that i gave to a mate who rated them as one of his alltime favorites ......different strokes...
 
I know what you mean about the metallic taste.

Zolpidem is such a fruit loop of a drug that it's combo's are something to behold - and not to be trifled with. Try taking zolpidem along with a dissociative. The interaction is crazy. I have had literally 5 hr blackouts from just 10 mg zolpidem mixed with DXM - even with loads of meph and mandy in the mix. the diference between 5 mg and 10 mg when on DXM one is terrifying!

Hmmph. I ate some Zopiclone the other week, two tablets to be specific, with a couple of ales to wash it down. Ended waking up many hours later with no lower clothing on and the entire strip missing.. Definitely one I won't be trying again, along with any and similar substances.
 
I had 30mg of zopiclone t'other neet, along with 4 cans of 9% lager and passed out outside the offy (classy, huh?). I eventually came round being hassle by some guy for money. He eventually gave up, presumably because he was getting fuckin nowhere as all I could say was 'ya wot mate?' Lucky for me I got a crap mugger! That aside, I do love zopis. I get a proper opiate like gouch off them, especially with a bit of pot. Mix 'em with booze at your peril though!

Sorry but it ISN'T going strong. Only a few have commented.

We all know about zop us, it's a sleeping tab n it's addictive.
