Your word of the day.

Axiomatic

- because I was made to change "It is axiomatic" to "It follows" in something I'd written today because I was told "I'm not entirely sure what axiomatic means" :\

I never knew that word, it reminds me of my days when I use to be a tree surgeon. I like it.

Was taught to me by a highly intelligent yet terribly dyslectic girl I once loved who as a result of her condition grew obsessed with language extremities such as beatiful yet rarely used words, making it all the more special to me. She also told me about Petrichor-which is the scent of rain on dry earth/ dust after it rained

Excessive love of one's wife :) Ahhh...

But spudgun is quite correct - it could be interpreted as submissive or even servile. Not in my case, but thinking about it......oh bugger.

I think your interpretation is probably a lot more healthy :D

19. Widdiful - Someone who deserves to be hanged

Nowt wrong with cheating and some fine words in there. Picked up on that one cos am wondering if it is related to another longtime fave word of mine - widdershins. I suspect it is. Not just cos there is similarity of spelling at the beginning but because of the connotations of taking the left hand path - somewhat sinister so I hear.
