In my opinion, if you were living at home still, street drugs or the abuse of legal should not even be in your life.
What exactly did you expect to happen?
Maybe use this as a wake up call, and try to make things right with your family. I've been down the same road, and I'm sure many that post here can relate as well.
IF your home life is really a bad deal, then your focus should be on getting out, and supporting yourself. If it is NOT a bad place then I think you should respect your family, and yourself by keeping drugs out of the equation.
it's a real common problem, with a real easy solution. I hope you understand.
You know as well as I do that drug addiction isn't a choice. If any of us were capable of stepping back and saying, maybe I should shoot dope in my mothers bathroom, it's not respectful, we probobly wouldn't be addicts in the first place. I agree that doing hard drugs while living with your folks isn't right for most people, but it's not like it's gonna even come close I stopping us.
FYI: I don't live with my parents, and I no longer use hard street drugs. But there was a time when I did both, and for me it wasn't a choice or a lack of respect on my part. ( my use or my living situation. ) I did both out of necessity and survival, and only after months of hard work and lucky breaks was I able to get clean and move out.
