your preference; meth or coke?

I don't think this thread and all of our opinions are circumstantial. People have tried both drugs under different circumstances and therefore they've had different results. Also, different drugs appeal to different people.
 
Every time I've had coke I've spent about 5 minutes wondering what it was I was supposed to feel then about 10 minutes being disapointed with the passe effects then about 30 secs packing my crack pipe with some crystal...

I've only had what was assured to me as being good coke twice, the other times I've been told that it was average, and every time it's been really disappointing.

i read the whole of your post and considered it. i'm not sure in what sense i jumped the gun.

i don't think the rest of what you wrote alters the fact that your first sentence is a kind of silly thing to say.

i have access to pretty decent meth and pretty decent coke. i personally prefer coke. it does not boggle my mind at all that other people may simply have a different preference. it seems like a pretty straightforward concept.

The 'boggling' was to express how disappointed I have been with coke. I also don't like marijuana, but it does at least get me fucked up. You totally missed the point of my post it seems...it was not to say one drug or preference was superior, but rather how different coke and meth are.
 
I thought of an analogy. Can you imagine if a lot of people were like 'omg, black tea gives me SUCH INTENSE EUPHORIA!' ? Wouldn't that boggle your mind, at least a little bit?

Coke is like the black tea of drugs for me. It's so far from being euphoric for me that I am not able to imagine how it is so pleasurable for others, even though that is clearly the case.

Even if decent coke was a possibility in OZ, I still think it would be Meth.:)
 
What, I can't have both? Meth-I only like coke if I'm on meth or opiates so when the coke wears off I'm not freaking out wanting more

I completely agree with this, but as i said earlier, this could well be due to the fact that high quality coke isnt a common thing here . . .
 
I tend to prefer meth overall, by virtue of its long duration, more reasonable price, and its usefulness. And I agree with fairnymph that, at least personally, I get much more profound euphoria on some good, oily shards.

Ill do coke if its good (usually in Mexico, Las Vegas or back East like in Jerz, NYC or Philly), but unless its straight up face flushing, rocket fuel smelling, sinus numbing shit, Im not too impressed. I do however prefer coke as a social drug, and in combination with alcohol and opiates.
 
I've had mind-numbing Jersey Coke, and have had the pharmecutical grade speed, and I must say, Coke take such a heavy hit on your wallet that it's almost not worth it. So I'd have to go with the speed because it's just so nice to you, what with the long effects and the insurance plan covering part of the price...I'd have to go with speed on this count.
 
They are both completely different highs to me. The only thing they have in common is that they are stimulants. You can't really substitute one for the other, IMHO.

Depending on quality, meth is sometimes more expensive than coke here...

This got me to thinking, and you know what I think the ultimate reason is: Its the 'explosion', the big peak that I can attain with Coke, that is desiring to me. I don't really like the more subtle, lingering effects when it comes to 'euphoric' drugs. I think its because of how I began to regard my MDMA usage.. with more of want for a harder peak and overly intense effects. So with coke, I like to do a good amount and get that instant gratification that Meth has never given me. Truthfully I dont like either drug much and I'd agree that Coke *is* the most overrated drug, theres no doubt about it. Not one person who has used coke will go without saying something "i hate this fucking drug. its not worth doing? why am i doing it?". At least in my experience :) .. I still ask it every time.

Excellently put, its the same way for me exactly. With coke the only good part of the high is the intense peak, and mind you I usually get this after my first line. After that the rest of time Im getting high Im chasing that unobtainable peak again and it doesn't come.

While with meth I never have a peak, I get a gradual come up and stay high for hours and then a gradual comedown.

Actually now that I think about it I kind get similar effects from coke and MDMA, I guess its the intense euphoria and very pronounced peak of the two drugs. They are the only drugs I could ever really tell for sure when the peak is hitting and maybe shrooms.
